Let me start by saying the food here is delicious, especially for the price, however I have a few MAJOR complaints about service. When I placed my order, I confirmed with hostess that my Gyro Plate came with feta, arrived without feta. Asked for a side of ranch. Missing. Fries were cold as ice while the rest of the food was warm. Also ordered two things of baklava, missing as well. When I called to complain about the order, the hostess explained that it is up to the CUSTOMER to grab the baklava from the fridge themselves. No one told me, when she saw it on the order and took the order herself. Not even set aside or paired with the food, just “you’re supposed to get it yourself.” Yes because I knew that... like I’m going to open the sealed bag and check every single item. Was not about to drive the 30 minutes there-and-back home to pick them up. Her only restitution was continuously saying “I’m sorry about that, you can grab two the next time you come into the store.” Very underwhelming and I felt like she was blaming me for something I was unaware of and didn’t really offer a fair exchange for the multiple problems with my order. Cherry on top—watched the cooks in back stick the rib tips in the microwave. So the ones that ended up in my order were probably microwaved too. Not happy about that. The owner, Andy, and his team are terrific and the atmosphere is always friendly and warm. The large parking lot, loaded with the pick up trucks and SUVs of the clientele, speak to the restaurant's popularity. Lots of area people make this their regular "go to" spot to meet and greet. Nonetheless, the parking lot is large enough that there always is a parking spot available. And Andy and his team are among the most efficient and professional restauranteurs around. She's so rude and unenthusiastic about being there that it has actually caused me to fo elsewhere for food. If I call the restaurant for a carry out and she answers I hang up and take my buisness elsewhere. I cant be the only one who has thought what the hell is her problem and been annoyed at just trying to order food.
