Read moreWent looking for a small locally owed restaurant, and found this wonderful little place. Wasn't sure what to order so asked them for suggestions with a few provisions. No corn and couldn't be spicy. They do have gluten free and vegetarian options here.
I ended up getting a quesadilla with chorizo and a salad. The quesadilla was filled nicely, plenty of Vermont cheddar cheese, roasted plablano peppers and chorizo (see photo). They also include a side of sour cream.
You could eat it easily without it dripping all over. I had enough for two meals. Yum! Made to order.

The bartender/cashier kept filling drinks for people at the bar and ignored a line of customers waiting to order food. Without exaggeration just stood there for 25 minutes, despite the fact that when she took someone's order it took all of 1 minute to put the order in the computer and have them go through the tip menu. This was clearly not a staffing problem. The bar is small and both ordering and filling drinks could easily be managed by one person. It was just poor service and/or rude. Went to Worthy Burger where they sat us and served us in the same amount of time we were waiting to go from 4th in line to 2nd in line at Carlitas. It is disappointing as Carlitas looked like a nice little local place, but they don't treat you very well.... Ultimately very happy with our decision to go to WB as service was excellent and food...
