I love X-Roads. There is live music on Mondays, a trivia night on Thursdays, and good food every night! With so many beers on tap, and the skill of the bartenders, you can ALWAYS find a great drink! The staff is so great, even when it is slammed busy. Friday night always seems to draw a big crowd. Even when the bar is 5 deep, the bartenders and waitstaff are cheerful and friendly. There are lots of benefits to the small town feel. Even if you've never been there, you're not a stranger. Locals and students from Vermont Law School populate the place regularly, but if you are in the area, definitely give them a try. If you’re looking for a great spot in the area for excellent food and drinks, look no further. There are no bad choices on their menu. We spent a few days in town and were able to try most of what they offered and whether it was an appetizer or main course, they were delicious. The Luke is an amazing sandwich and their chicken wings are by far the best I’ve had in years, anywhere. The Mac n Cheese was fantastic and I would definitely recommend trying that as well. The entire staff from the waitresses to the bartenders, were very welcoming and really enjoy interacting with the patrons. Crossroads Bar and Grill is a decent spot that offers good food and service. I've been there a few times, and the servers have always been friendly and attentive.

I particularly enjoyed their smoked chicken with potatoes and vegetables. The gravy was homemade and gluten-free, which was a nice touch and quite good. The house salad with smoked chicken is another solid choice. They also have a good selection of ciders.

The atmosphere is pleasant, and they sometimes have open mic nights where you can catch some local talent. It's a comfortable place for a meal.
