I love this place! First Branch is a quaint little coffee shop nestled in downtown South Royalton. They offer a nice variety of delicious coffee and baked goods. The vibe is warm, and inviting. The staff is super friendly. Prices are reasonable. If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend stopping by First Branch. You will be glad you did.

Stopped in on Labor Day on our drive back to the Hudson Valley. Service was fast, there was plenty of seating, bathrooms were clean, and the decor was nice. Loved the vegan lemon pistachio cake!

A great way to start a Friday! Yummy maple latte and a mocha for Jordan, both with a shot of CBD. Friendly staff. Artistic barista!

My friends and I were lucky to have stumbled across First Branch yesterday. First Branch is a well designed coffee oasis complete with an Upper Pass (also, excellent—local craft beer) taproom in the back—something for everyone.

First Branch’s coffee is roasted in house and served fresh by very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Without a warm staff, a coffee shop is worth null!

I recommend the: Ethiopian/Kochere Banco Gotete—I took a bag home; drinking it now, A+.

Thanks for the Vermont...

I want to love the place, I really do but… service is almost always very slow and not usually (not always) very personable. The pastry and “tidbit” selection is a little limited. The coffee..that is the problem. The last 6 of 7 times it has been cold- lukewarm at best. I have bought the beans (expensive beans) and they really lacked the richness expected for that roast and price. I wish them all the best but I don’t plan on stopping for a while. I’m sure I’ll give it another try at some point; I hope...

We stopped at this coffee shop on our way back from a snowboarding trip in Vermont. My husband got an espresso and I got a vanilla latte. We were both pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee was! Usually when I get a latte I find it to be too milky with not enough coffee taste, this place had the perfect balance! The espresso was dark and strong. I also got the pistachio cake which I would get again a thousand times. Honestly I wish I had a place this good closer to our home in Jersey!...
