Beto’s Restaurant and Pizza — Restaurant in Runnemede

First of all, I hope this is my first and last time writing a review like this.

I work locally, and my office has been ordering lunch from this place for quite some time, we've never had any issues. In fact they have some of the best french fries around!

My office receives the lunch specials every morning with the daily specials. However when one of my coworkers pointed out that one particular item on the list was significantly higher in price (One Original Tarantini Panzoratti listed on the regular menu as $4.95 with an additional $1.00 for toppings. Versus the same item but with one choice of topping and a choice of soda for $8.95) we were confused.

That was a little high for a soda if that were the case, right?

Calling in our order with the young woman who answers the phones, I would ask her why so much for a soda if the price difference was so drastic? No harm done right? After all, I don't ever recall asking how much a soda actually cost there!

Well, of course, this review wouldn't exist if she felt the same why.

She claimed she didn't write the menu's. Understandable, I've worked quite awhile in customer service, she could've been having a bad day...

When I arrived to pick up our food, it was clear things weren't as harmless as I thought.

Do me a favor, don't insult my intelligence and think I would fall for something like a hair in my food. The minute I opened the box to my lunch a huge black hair was cooked into the cheese! It's clear someone was unhappy with my simple question, but why go to such great lengths and risk an entire office full of loyal customers? Needless to say, they've lost an entire building full of paying customers over something as petty as my having questioned the price of a soda!

I doubt anyone with authority in this restaurant would ever see this let alone address it. Regardless, this review is for all you who are considering eating here.

I can't tell you not to eat here. Just be careful with your choice of words if you have any disagreements...

It was terrible! I ordered two days in a row. The first day I ordered from them it was good so I ordered again the next day. On both days I ordered boneless bbq wings. The second day 3/27/19 I bit into a raw piece of chicken. I was utterly disgusted. I called the manager offered to send out a new platter. I completely lost my appetite. Why would I want anything from you at that point? Then he offered me a store credit. I BIT INTO RAW CHICKEN!!!!! I don’t want a store credit I want my money back. They send the driver back to give me my money and comes literally with only $10. My total with tax delivery and the soda I had to buy to meet the minimum came to $16. I gave the driver a $20 told him keep the change. Why would you think it’s ok to only give me $10??? I called back they said the manager was gone. I’ll be making a in person appearance. I’m completely disgusted with this place from the food to the workers. It’s not the first bad experience with them but it’ll definitely be my last experience. I’ll also be letting the company I work for know to be cautious when ordering food for the new hires during training. I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. I’m beyond disgusted with this...

This hidden gem goes way beyond just pizza. Walking into their sprawling dining room, you're immediately struck by the thoughtful decorations that transform every corner into something special - it's clear they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The menu is practically a novel, but unlike most places that try to do everything, they somehow nail it all. From their perfectly made pizzas to their extensive pasta selection, everything I've tried has been consistently excellent.

What really sets this place apart is the staff. They have that rare quality of making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. They're genuinely knowledgeable about the menu and eager to help you find exactly what you're craving.

The spotless dining room and open kitchen speak volumes about their commitment to quality. Even during peak hours, every surface gleams - a detail that doesn't go unnoticed. Even the black rugs that are constantly walked on are kept clean!
