Deluxe Bakery is without a doubt the best bakery in South Jersey and quite possibly in the Tri-State area.. We have used Deluxe for weddings, graduation parties and all the way down to just simple dinners or get together‘s with friends and or family . We have never been disappointed in their product or their service and have always had peace of mind when ordering, knowing that even in these tough times of the Covid pandemic, Deluxe will go above and beyond to ensure their customers, no matter a first time customer or a loyal, decades-old customer like myself, my family and and friends, will be happy with their baked goods and service. Being self-employed, I know how hard it is to maintain quality control when having to constantly reinvent one’s self due to State restrictions and rotating employees as well as dealing shipping issues and supplies but the owner Phil, his sons and his brother, as well as other family members make sure that baked goods are top notch, their customers leave happy and that their reputation stays cemented as being the “Best in Jersey”..... thank you for proving that family owned businesses can keep folks employed, be a staple in the community and put out a product that is far superior to big box...

Walked in around 4:30pm. Started browsing. Both clerks acknowledged me, and made sure I felt welcome.

I asked, kindly, when the baked goods in the first display case had been made. A girl in the distance said they should have been made that morning, but at latest, it was yesterday. One of the cheesecakes in the front, the very front, was CAKED (pun intended~!) in mold. Disgusting, fuzzy blue mold.

If it wasn't the constant overuse of food coloring, the mistimed baking, and the incredible amount of sugar used in place of actual baking ability, it was definitely the mold that would ensure I don't return.

Edit to the response below: My eyes function perfectly fine: no correction needed. I know what mold looks like. Your bakery needs serious work, since even if there wasn't mold, not a single thing you make is worth the price. In fact, the only time I've ever enjoyed a purchase from your bakery is when another brand was stamped on the product.

Went in last weekend with my daughter, for her to pick out a cake for her 5th bday. Placed an order a week in advance for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Went in the day & time of the agreed pick up. They either didn’t make her cake or misplaced our order for our lil girl. Daina took our order, apparently store manager. They couldn’t even find their receipt to match our order’s pink slip & printed receipt of payment. They did refund the order & we received a replacement cake, but was not meant to feed the amount of guests we had. Completely disappointed, embarrassed & hurt by them failing us with our order. My daughter didn’t cry at the party over the cake not being the one she picked out, however broke down Sunday evening the day after her party because of it.
