Read moreThe Smokin' Joe's experience begins the minute you get out of your car. The aroma of smoky goodness curls around you and your feet will go through the door before your brain can decide if you want ribs or steak. I chose the rib eye dinner and it was one of the best steaks I've had as I've traveled across the country. It comes medium rare and I strongly recommend going with it: it is so tender that a plastic knife cut through it like butter. The pork brisket was equally tender and sumptuous. The cashier was watching something on her phone with ear buds, and I could hear someone moving around in the kitchen. I get it, slow day and all, but a little concerning I couldn't get anyone's attention for several minutes. Good thing I wasn't robbing the place. This is the second time, I've had an issue with Joe's, so unless they can tighten this up, I am done with them. Not...
