Mackey’s Catfish — Restaurant in Russellville

I can't share a photo because I ate it all!!🥰 I just moved from LR to Russellville and I have been seeing Mackey's food truck on the corner of Waco and Main Street. I tried them today and WOW!!! The catfish was absolutely wonderful!! Seasoned exactly right!! The cole slaw was THE BEST I have ever had!! Sincerely!! The hush puppies, and French fries were also outstanding-both seasoned perfectly. All was fresh and hot!! I couldn't recommend anywhere as much as I recommend Mackey's for catfish and fixings'. I couldn't resist their banana pudding and it did not disappoint either!!! It was just like homemade!! If you enjoy catfish, just good cookin', you need to try Mackey's!!! It's DELICIOUS!! I normally eat fish at another place in town, but tonight it was late and we didn’t want to cook and wanted something close. The lady who owns this place works in cat rescue with my wife, so she has always suggested we try here and we finally did. It did not disappoint.

I had the fish dinner with fries and slaw, and my wife loves there chicken dinner with a side of slaw. The food was good, and so was the service…even though we got there 20 minutes before closing.
