This is a two visit review. 1st was apps mofongo, alitas, surullos, tostones all great. Had a little french surprize with the mofongo sauce. A white French creme but well made. On our second visit I went 4 the lobster a 40$ dish. The tail was presented to me by the waitress knowing i would need to wait because they were frozen. Let me tell u it was a total fail not once but twice. Note one should Always prep 4 that one guest that wants lobster and keep one thawed. Sous vide or steamimg would of save this kitchen from the inevitable disaster of bringing a frozen lobster tail to service in 20 min, but no. They chopped it and slathered on the white sauce. Unrecognizable on my plate, a mound of hard as a rock chewy lobster tail with a over baked potato and frozen veggies of broccoli and carrot appered. WT? However, if you drive around the corner of the gas station, you'll come to the main parking lot where you'll see the open patio and bar. This is where most people enter by. Unfortunately we came on a Thursday, slow day, just one server for about 20 people .. the server Gabriela, did not lose her cool even though she was alone taking orders, drinks and the negative feedback for the slow service… kudos to her !!!
