I love the food and the past service my family and I have gotten from this place before and that’s why we keep coming back. Unfortunately it was not the case today. Food was amazing but unfortunately service was unprofessional and attitude was uncalled for. Our Server did not come by to check on us at all! When I asked another server passing by for another glass of orange juice our original server came to drop it off with an horrible attitude and stated… “We don’t give orange juice refills but this time it’s okay.” I then proceeded to let her know to please change us for the glass of orange juice on our bill and she denied the request. We had French toast on the table that my partner and I planned to eat it after eating our breakfast meals and it was too late to notice that she had taken it away during the orange juice interaction we decided we didn’t want to complain as a way of compensating for the orange juice we had asked for earlier. After the awful experience as a past server of several years I chose not to tip due to the lack of service and her attitude. My partner and I got up from the table and started to walk away when the server then stops to ask me. “ So you aren’t going to leave a tip?” As she’s stomping away… Demanding for a tip after you know you gave us a poor dining experience with attitude after attitude was just unprofessional and uncalled for. I hope the manager speaks with her regarding her interactions...
Read moreI decided to try this restaurant after seeing it all over social media. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
We waited about 30–40 minutes to be seated, and it seemed like the restaurant was very short-staffed. Our waitress was also the hostess, which left no one at the front to greet guests. Once we were finally seated, she rushed through taking our orders, and our food took another 30 minutes to arrive.
Service overall felt rushed and a bit unfriendly. Before we even finished eating, the check was brought to our table, making us feel pressured to leave. On top of that, the waitress directly demanded a tip, which was uncomfortable. I usually always tip, but with the poor service, I honestly didn’t feel like doing so this time.
The one positive was the atmosphere—watching planes land and take off outside, as well as the airplane décor inside, which was fun and unique.
Overall, I think this restaurant is more of a social media trend than a truly enjoyable dining experience. Hopefully, they can improve their staffing and service...
Read moreWe went to Aviators Restaurant yesterday for breakfast, our 1st time. There were 12 in our group, and we were seated in a small room. Almost a semi-private dining room, nice. It was early, no line to deal with. Menu was varied, and the prices hard to believe. As if the menu prices were printed in the 90s and never updated. Food was good, on a scale of 1 to 10 it was about 8.5. Tasty, but just warm, and yet to be expected with a large group. The waitress was good, didn't bat an eyelash when we asked for separate checks. The beverages never ran out and no mishaps with the food orders, which is often the case with a large group. I'd give the waitress #10, great job. There was a line out the door of people waiting to get in when we made our exit. Yes, for most of our group it was the first time, and a bit of a drive, but from the reactions, I'd say we definitely will be back. Good food, good service, low prices oh, and if you're in the right place a wonderful view. Restaurant is located at the edge...
