The chow mein was like eating oiley noodles with little to no flavor. The orange chicken was edible, however it wasn't enjoyable. It was pre-frozen popcorn chicken drenched in a very basic orange sauce. After trying these two dishes, it became very clear that this is not an authentic Chinese restaurant, and nothing is made from scratch. This restaurant is more comparable to the quality at Panda express, but with a price point closer to Benihana's. Moving on to the boba tea they had to offer, the boba balls were incredibly hard, like eating marbles through a straw. The beef and broccoli, pre-frozen, wattery, & tasted like freezer burn. The rice was about all they did right, and to be honest.. it's incredibly hard to mess up rice. Also, there is a notable homeless encampment nearly 20 feet away from the front door of this place. So you're gonna smell the pungent odor of urine just before you walk inside to order your food. So for what it's worth, if you plan on eating here, bring mace or a tazer as well.

A small cozy place. Nice, clean interior with plenty of tables/chairs to accomodate your group. I order the Salt and Pepper Shrimp over Fried Rice... Wow! What a delicious meal! The cost is moderate, but the plates are big! The flavors are even bigger! I will definitely be back when I return to this part of Sacramento. Don't judge a book by it's cover, a great location, that isn't flashy or visually appealing. The food makes up for it.

Saw this place on Google map as I typed in "food near me". It caught my attention. A little difficult to find. Let me tell you, this was the best Chinese food that I have had in years. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The atmosphere had alot of need. Staff was very very nice and friendly. We had leftovers enough for a large dinner. I will definitely return when I get back in the neighborhood.

I believe in second chances, which is why I came back to this location after my order was incorrect last time. The last time I came to this location I ordered a combination plate with orange chicken and fried rice and after the customer service representative repeated the order back to me correctly I got the wrong thing in return. After telling the representative that the order that I placed was incorrect instead of offering to remake it for me she instead said that well there's not very much difference between them one is spicy and the other one is not. I came back today to order the same thing and unfortunately everyone who worked at this location was on break when I placed my order. All of the employees were in the dining area eating including the two cooks and the representative who took my order and the only other person that takes orders there as well. They were all on break at the same time and when they finished their break then they went back into the kitchen to start making my order approximately 10 to 15 minutes after I placed it. I came back in the hopes that the service would be better around the second time instead of worse, unfortunately this was not the case yet again. I really enjoyed the food actually, even though they messed up my order last time this food was still great but the customer service really needs...

We had used the Groupon to check-out this restaurant and decided to go here for dinner. Boy this neighborhood is dark and sketchy at night. I thought I had driven to the wrong place. This restaurant was in the middle of nowhere. It appears that the owners where the one working the "front" counter. It was a bit weird, this restaurant is small and had this take-out vibe/food court type setting to it. They had a TV plastered to the wall. After our food came, one of the guys (or owner) at the counter said, "Are you watching this?" Was I to argue with him and say, "No, don't change the TV, I'm in front of it and can't you see I'm watching?" attitude? So I waived my hand, "no", since my mouth was full of Honey Walnut Shrimp and fried rice. It was good albeit not the best I've tried. My daughter wanted the Orange Chicken. It was not bad until I bit into an orange peel. My daughter bit into a couple of them. And then there were more orange peels. What the??? Are you serious? This orange chicken should have been called "Bitter Orange Chicken". Please take the peel off this food, won't you??? It just simply should not be there. If you want to add orange skin, then please use orange zest and not pieces of orange skin. Fail on...

We found this restaurant through a google search looking for something new, and I can say with ease that this location is a hidden gem. We ate inside the restaurant which is a little small, but service was prompt. My partner and I ordered the wor wonton soup, the cream cheese wontons, bbq pork steamed buns and the chicken chow mein. The cream cheese wontons are unequivocally the best I have had anywhere. The filling was ample, with a superb distribution of cheese, crab, and green onions, and they were very clearly freshly made. The wonton soup had a light but exquisite broth, and was brimming with vegetables and meat in addition to the extremely flavorful wontons. The chow mein noodles were springy, the cabbage almost melt-in-your mouth decadent, and the chicken was spread throughout evenly. The steamed pork buns were soft, and the meat inside was ample and flavorful. Even after having eaten our fill, there was enough that we filled the to-go boxes to bursting, and our leftovers are equivalent if not more, than many other restaurants' initial servings. We will definitely be coming back, and will be recommending it to anyone...
