Taqueria Mi Raza Market — Restaurant in Sacramento

Pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem! Great food. Comfortable atmosphere. Great pricing. I enjoyed my experience here, however, I purchased the $13.00 quesabirria taco special and was charged $16.89. When I asked “What happened to $13.00?”, the cashier responded, “Tax.” . . . That is much more than 8% tax that Sacramento county merchants are supposed to charge. The correct tax would’ve been $1.04. An illegal profit of $2.85. For 100 customers paying the same over charge is $285 in excess taxes collected. I’m going to estimate 500 customers per week. That would be $74,100 per year in unreported income. I think that’s very close to a higher tax bracket.

I would absolutely love to give this place five stars all the way across the board I have ordered from here many times never have done delivery however I have ordered online for pick up and today when I spent $50 I call after getting a text that says my order was canceled and no one at this place knows where my money went. They barely could speak to me. And then have the nerve to hang up on me even though I wasn’t being rudejust stern.
