Many thanks to owner-operator George for letting us into the shop a few minutes after closing time. We were actually very hungry and thirsty, having traveled a distance to attend a wedding nearby. George was cleaning the outside windows to the store when we rolled up.

The ham and swiss cheese sandwiches prepared for us were fresh and delicious. The brownie was also fantastic!

We had a great conversation with George, and he is clearly a business owner who cares about his patrons and is willing to go the extra mile.

The fresh ground coffee smelled delectable - even with my nose shielded by a mask - I can only imagine how delicious it tastes.

Thank you George and staff for keeping the tradition of small business alive! Do you know how often I get turned away from chain restaurants like Starbucks who decide to lock their doors a few minutes before...

I recently had the pleasure of grabbing lunch at Saddle River Deli, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to take my order, which was a big plus since I was on a lunch break.

Their food is delicious, regardless which option you go with! One of the standout features of Saddle River Deli is the attention to detail. Every item is prepared with care, and you can tell they use only the freshest ingredients. I even noticed they had vegetarian options, which makes this place suitable for everyone.

I had lunch here on a Thursday in April 2019. I was a first-time visitor to this deli (I'm a tourist, senior citizen). I was driving south through the NYC area and I found the restaurant on Google Maps. The lunch was good. I ordered a roast beef special sandwich, with cole slaw and Russian dressing, and it was very tasty. The sandwich was not huge and bulging with meat, like you find at a lot of delis, but I was fine with the smaller, normal size. Fast service and friendly staff.
