Honey Bee Tea - St. Charles — Restaurant in Saint Charles

We have been here once before when they first opened and I absolutely loved it and left a great review five stars. We went back a few days ago. I’ve been looking forward to it all day since they are expensive and it’s only a treat I can have every now and again. we walked in behind another couple and watched them apparently order on the kiosk and then go to pick up the order so we go to the kiosk and start placing our order. behind us A family of six comes in and starts looking at the menu near the front. When we get done at the kiosk and go to pay The kiosk shuts down. We try several more times and it won’t let us pay. I speak to the gentleman behind the counter who had been within 2 feet of us the entire time and go hey I think the kiosk is broken and he tells me it’s been broken all day and I’m just standing there like we just spent 10 minutes ordering nobody could’ve told us that and I started to get a little upset because now we’re expected to get at the back of the line behind all the people that came in after us, not one person in there could’ve told us that the kiosk was broken or anybody else who had went through there and then we had to get back in line. I didn’t feel like waiting another 25 to 30 minutes to get the order. We just drove to the other place in Saint Peter’s. I don’t think I’ll ever be back here again. I’m in customer service and I would never treat...

Don't offer curbside pickup if you aren't actually going to do it. Ordered curbside using their website (which is also advertised on the sign outside of the store), pulled up infront of the building by the curbside with my hazards on like the instructions said. It had been the full 15 minutes that it said. I go to call the store and it immediately goes to an automated message that a voicemail system hadn't been set up yet. The number matched the one listed on the website, Google page and receipt that was emailed to me. I called multiple times and was met with the same message. I waited by the curbside. Right infront of the store where the windows face out. Another 15 minutes go by with noone coming out. My daughter goes in to ask for the drinks which the workers apparently couldn't even find where they put them. My daughter comes out with the drinks, she wasn't given a straws and my drink didn't even come with the boba!!!! If I wanted a basic strawberry smoothie then I could have gotten one cheaper somewhere else. I didn't pay extra for any toppings but I'm pretty sure there was supposed to be Boba on the bottom. Truly an absolute waste of money. I very much regret...

I love this place! I’ve been waiting for a good boba place here in St. Charles and now we finally have one! They have so many drink options and every single one I’ve tried so far are sooo good. Every encounter I’ve had with the employees has been great, they’re all super nice and are very willing to answer any questions you have. They’re all also super patient and friendly! I was really enjoying the music they were playing one day and one of the workers asked if there was any specific song I wanted to hear, and they played it. Talk about customer service! 🤩 They make drinks super quick as well! The atmosphere is just so cute! Definitely great for taking pictures after you get your drink. They have a hunch of cute stuffed animals and comfy seating. Very clean as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, even those who have never had milk tea or boba before, as the employees are very willing to explain things to you if you have questions. I cant say enough good things about this...
