Used to really love to come here. However, we don't very much, any more. Last night was ridiculous. We both ordered breakfast and the food came while my boyfriend was in the restroom. The hashbrowns were raw. I told the server that he wouldn't like those. So she took them back to get them crispy. Meanwhile he was just going to eat his banana bread. BUT it had obviously been in the refrigerator, so he took it to them asking to have it warmed up. Then his food came and the hashbrowns still were barely cooked. However they were saturated in grease. I tried them and they didn't even taste like potatoes.... just grease. He took one bite and left them on the plate. I asked for sugar free syrup and they brought me an almost empty bottle so I didn't have enough. But it really didn't matter because the pancakes were so bad they tasted like flour and as soon as I put them in my mouth they turned into a ball of dough. I left them on the plate. The orange juice that was ordered didn't come out until we were half way through the meal. When we're ready to leave we had to stand up to get her attention so we could get the bill. This is all really sad because it's at a convenient location and the food used to be really good. Can't say that anymore. We used to come once a week and it's dropped to once every 3 or 4 months. After last night we are thinking of not giving it another try. I mean, seriously, how many times are we going to throw money away on inedible food and just ok service? The only good thing is the atmosphere is usually quiet...
Read moreI made the unfortunate decision to come here last minute. I said to my husband, “oh can we go to bob Evan’s instead because they have good pancakes” Mistake number one right there friends! I ordered a wrangler breakfast and asked if I could add pancakes to the meal which it says on the menu, “Add hotcakes to any meal for 2.99”. They brought our food and not my pancakes so my husband asked for them. She walked away while he was in the middle of also asking for refills, which we did not receive the entire time we were here except for my daughter’s apple juice. She came back about ten minutes later and asked if we needed anything else. My husband again said I hadn’t gotten my pancakes. She comes back and tells me they weren’t rang in so asks what I wanted. I repeat that I want to add the pancakes to the meal as it says in the menu I can add them. She walked away and BROUGHT A MENU BACK and asked me to show her on the menu where it said I can have pancakes, and I pointed to it. “Add hotcakes to any meal for 2.99” They finally brought the pancakes, and when they brought the receipt they’d charged us 4.89 for the pancakes I had to ask for 3 times and show them on the menu where it was.
Another lady who was sitting at a different table sat here ignored for so long that she got up and left after telling us no one had even gotten her drink yet.
SO avoid this place to...
Read moreI go to that particular place at least 6 days a week with my mother who is 83. Sometimes twice a day. She sometimes orders from the children’s menu where the drink is free but adults have to pay for their drinks. Today we got our bill from the waitress and it only had one drink on it. The manager made our waitress put another coffee on our ticket and when I went to pay our bill then the manager put another coffee on our bill. I pointed it out the my bill was more expensive than my ticket and the manager looked confused then realized I caught her adding another coffee to my ticket. As I was leaving it looked like another customer had an issue with maybe the same type of issue of something being added to their ticket. Not sure if that though. We’ve been going to that restaurant for years and giving a regular customer a free coffee isn’t going to hurt especially since the coffee is overpriced and to sneak a item onto someone’s ticket while they are checking out is very wrong. It’s actually stealing. How many customers have had something added that the customer didn’t realize. If you’re so concerned with getting every penny instead of customer service you’re going to lose my business. That cup of coffee now will cost you two regular customers that sometimes eat there twice a day 7...
