McDonald's — Restaurant in Saint Clair

I knew better than to return to McD's I haven't eaten McD's in a many many months. We didn't have enough eggs for our breakfast this morning and I had a choice to hit Neiman's or just get McD's. I chose poorly. I asked for an Egg Mcmuffin, Sausage and Egg Mcmuffin, and a Steak, egg, and cheese Bagel + some hashbrowns. What I got was an Egg Mcmuffin, another Egg Mcmuffin, and a Bacon egg and cheese Bagel. The receipt said sausage and it said bacon respectively which means the order taker got it wrong and the person putting together the sandwiches got it wrong too.

I'm not expecting much from a McD's but for $25 I expect to get what I ordered. The hashbrowns tasted like soy oil, a little undercooked and soggy.

Overall its a guarantee that I will not be back to this or any McD's. I'll hit Tim Hortons the next time if there is one but really I'll just buy eggs and cook a great breakfast without soybean oil. The used of soy just left a majorly bad taste in my mouth.Gross.

This McDonalds is practically no different from a ghetto Detroit location in that the hamburgers are sloppy thrown together, often missing things like onion, pickles, mustard... Ect. Also, the young employees tend to be rude, as well as incompetent. As a blue collar worker my whole life, I'm fully aware that not all jobs are fun, and/or desirable... However, this doesn't justify not taking pride in ones work. Especially when preparing another's food. Many Americans had this for their first employment, and having lived through the 80's, 90's, all the way until today... I can confidently say that this restaurant is going downhill like Clinton ave between 9th and 7th. Room for improvement is incredibly understated. I'll leave with this... mobile ordered and pre paid for my food through drive through, worker told me they were only taking doordash and wouldn’t let me get my food, told me id get refunded overnight. never got my refund on money or points, called the store and had no help whatsoever. ended up calling corporate and made a case number about getting my money back. corporate told me id get a call from the store owner about refunding my money but i still haven’t gotten a call or my money back. as someone who has also worked fast food for multiple years and understands the struggles with customers and late night stressors and rushes, this is a shitty way to handle situations like this. learn to manage your workers, money, and your...
