Oh my. Pizza Heaven! I arrived a bit early, found a shady spot and waited for my pick up time. Chef started texting me pics. Pizza going in or coming out of the oven. Order was ready early! The minute you walk up you know this is gonna be good. Chef greeted me and I was so overwhelmed by the wonderful, delectable smell emanating from the inside of his truck I asked if I could come in. Chef actually reached for the door to open it. I politely declined his offer and proceeded to lose myself in the mouthwatering aroma. As my pizzas were finishing in the oven Chef explained to me he'd put both pizzas in one box. He had a system and it worked. Kudos to Chef for reducing pizza box waste! I had about 40 minuets of drive before we'd get to enjoy so I had wrapped the box in a blanket and pizza was still hot when I arrived. That wonderful aroma still driving me mad I finally had my slice. I knew, first bite, this was good I mean good pizza. The sauce. The sauce is completely unique and delicious. Rare for pizza. Great flavor profile and just the right bite. Crust is light, crunchy and complements what are high quality toppings and Chef don't skimp. Pepperoni was loaded and the Houston was a great combo! Read morePositives- The pizza was great. Loved the thinness, sauce, taste of the toppings and the cheese put on last. The combination of those 4 things were spot-on. I don't eat pizza crust, but took a bite and it is crispy, light, and not doughy. I didn't not feel stuffed and bloated after eating it.
Negative- In my opinion, it's overpriced. It's just not a $30 pizza and I more than likely won't order again because of that. It's a pizza that I'd pay $20 for, but understand that inflation and coat of goods have caused everything to go up. I give it an overall rating of 4 out of 5.

For us, the trip into Kansas City, at this location, is about 30 minutes, so we don't frequent this stop often, but he was SO helpful in finding his location... He physically looked out for our vehicle to ensure that we found him, he made our pizza "to order", and he kept it warm when we informed him that we were running a bit behind! Now, it is a food truck and the location may seem a little desolate, but the pizza was BOMB!
