Caribbean Tasty — Restaurant in Saint Louis Park

I wasn’t really impressed, with this place. When you first come in it’s empty. I didn’t know who was running the place. The cashier act like he didn’t know how to ring up my order. He seemed out of it actually, in “lala land”. I think it’s 1 cook which may be the owner cause I didn’t see anybody else working at all. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. I got the chicken curry with rice. I also got the beef patties, which didn’t taste fresh. The rice was pretty good. The Caribbean chicken was also ok. I’m sure there are better spots that you can find with better “Carribean” dishes. Was a waste of money & time, but at least you know what...

This place hits the sweet spot of huge portions, insane value, and really delicious food.

The pulled pork sandwich has at least a pound of juicy and seasoned meat on it, plus you get some really good crinkle fries and a side of slaw. The curry shrimp bowl has a very generous amount of shrimp, and between the rice and the plantains and the cabbage, it's enough food to satisfy two adults.

The star is the beef patty. Just as good as anything you'll get in...

So excited that this place opened up in SLP. I ordered the Caribbean wings and a beef patty and both were awesome. The wings were super flavorful and I especially loved the sauce - had a perfect amount of spice/heat. The beef patty was also delicious - loved the flaky crust and the filling was really flavorful. Can't wait to come back and try everything else...
