One of the best thin crust pizzas in the twin cities. A unique spicy sauce ( garlic?) ,plenty of cheese, and a wide range of fresh ingredients. Great neighborhood pizza joint with BEER and CIDER. Don't like pizza..not to worry, they have an awesome selection of sandwiches on their menu also. Rave reviews from my daughter on the sandwiches. Finish up with some Ice Cream for dessert. They even have some entertaining trivia nights.
Definitely a great place for a date or family fun night. ( although they are a little pricier than take out or Papa Johns across the street.)
Only negatives I would say is that limited parking on site, and not good sight lines exiting or entering their parking lot, we usually just walk over. Also wish they had outdoor seating, NEWLY ADDED small outdoor seating** kind of small and busy street??but on a Sunday afternoon a good place to relax
This sits on the original Beeks family pizza joint that had been there for years. While that pizza was good ( mostly for having nice greasy sausage and a ton of cheese ) the place had gotten quite run down and the owners obviously just didn't have the drive to keep it going.. I am glad Parkway stepped up to the plate to provide our neighborhood with a great...
Read more1st time Parkway Pizza experience last night... got the Greek pizza and the Southwest chicken... the crust on both was outstanding! The Greek pizza was fantastic! So good! The Southwest Chicken was beyond disappointing, as you expect flavors of tex-mex, but OH MY WOW the chicken is seasoned in nothing but cinnamon and CURRY! Throws you waaaaay off from what you’d expect. If that’s how it’s supposed to be, just change the name of the pizza to “Southwest Indian Chicken.” At least you’d know what to prepare for. How would anyone anticipate cinnamon and curry for a southwest style pizza? While I appreciate the flavor of curry in general, we did not want to order a curry pizza... which left a whole $28 pizza barely touched. Two contrasting flavors that absolutely didn’t work, and that’s coming from 4 foodies who tried it. The least you can do is put “curry and cinnamon seasoned chicken” in the description of the pizza so people know what they are ordering before spending almost $30 on a pizza. We love to support local, but just be transparent when throwing spices in that don’t associate with the pizza title. Other than that, loved the fresh ingredients! You could tell they were quality and fresh! Will be back, but not for...
Read moreABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Was there with my sister, she treated, yep, I got people like that. The pizza is excellent, had pepperoni and garlic. Listen, they don't miss with that fresh garlic, if you need to be in public after maybe asked for easy on the garlic. Shout Out to Jordan (or maybe Jordyn?) Not sure, they were our sever, did a great job! Never had to wave him over anything, filled our waters when needed, thoroughly explained some things. We had legit gluten questions for actual medical reasons, shut up, I can hear you rolling your eyes. My sister said the gluten free pizza crust was very good. She would know, has tried a lot of them. Good ones are hard to find so here ya go! You're Welcome. Overall we will beck and we are trying plan to do so on a regular basis, just need to coordinate days off. Hopefully we will bring some friends and turn them onto this amazing restaurant. P.S. the photo belongs to Parkway Pizza, I forgot, again, I'm old leave me alone, to take a pic. I can tell you my pizza looked...
