Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Saint Marys

Would literally give them no stars if I could .I was told our food will be ready at 6:20 we get there wait in the Drive-Thru for 5 minutes and pay the lady then she comes back out another five minutes later and asked us to pull up to spot number one .We pull up to spot number one 20 minutes later they brought food to our car .We go through the food it was completely the wrong order as I was going in to show them a guy was walking out with our right order and a gift card for the wait he was really nice about it and apologize for the wait. Thought okay we waited but they gave us a gift card that's cool. Get home one taco was still pretty decent but didn't have any sauce on it and the other two pulled pork tacos were literally what seemed to be just coleslaw on them open up my fries to eat those instead of tacos and the cheese was completely rubberized on them and hard as can be to the point where I couldn't eat my fries either. So through basically my whole meal besides one taco in the trash . We ordered just over $70 of food and only one of the meals came out right even the condiments we asked for with our food were wrong . I used to love beer barrels pulled pork tacos, last time they were just okay and this time the whole meal was horrible. I will never ever go back to Beer Barrel again or recommend them to anyone prices are already high for the amount of food they give you and now horrible...

Stopped in while traveling. Loved the atmosphere but the host didn't seem to know how to do his job. Tried to seat us right behind the host station 10 feet from the door when there were plenty of available seats. Asked if there were tables we could sit in at the bar and he said the people before us got the last high top. We decided to eat at the bar but when we got back to the bar there were 2 lovely booths available. We asked if we could sit there and they said sure. Anyway, they have a large menu with unique dishes. It was hard to decide. The staff in the bar were very friendly and helpful so I was able to quickly forget my annoyance with the host. My husband had the Reuben and said it was the best he had in a long time. I had the eggplant parmesan sub. It was delicious, the bread was lovely the sauce was tangy the cheese was gooey and the eggplant was grilled and seasoned to perfection. We live a hour away but if we are ever near one of their locations we will try to stop again. Also the cider boys strawberry hard cider was delicious. The waitress recommended it based on my likes and dislike and was right one the money. I...

Being in the restaurant industry, I hate giving negative reviews to established businesses but after yesterday I’m not sure I will be back.

My husband and I took our two friends from out of town here for lunch. Our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer so it came out after our meal (this is forgivable).

What isn’t forgivable is the 40 minutes we waited for 3 burgers (that were cooked very well done and hard) and wrap. We ate the burgers because we were starving and didn’t want to wait longer for more food. My friend didn’t finish her wrap (she barely touched it) and didn’t even want a box for it because it was that bad. Our server brought us refills but didn’t really “wait on us”. She was not very personable and didn’t seem thrilled that we were there.

Also, we were the second table in the restaurant for the day, there was no reason for our food to take 40 minutes. After all of this our bill came out to over $70 for 4 entrees, an appetizer, and 2 teas. Way too expensive for the quality of food and service...
