El Rincon Chalateco Restaurants — Restaurant in Saint Paul

Second time I attempted to place an order for pick up and they never accept the order or answer the phone, and I am left with waiting days to receive a refund. My first time here I walked inside to place a to-go order and the restaurant only had one table of guests that were already eating, but I was told it would be over an hour to place an order for 2 pupusas. The woman was very short with me and was not friendly. I attempted to give it another try today, and the restaurant did not accept my order and they also did not answer the phone when I called asking about the status of my order. Maybe you might have better luck if you sit and dine with them, but the eerie and dark atmosphere, bad service and terrible communication was it for me and will no longer try to give them...

I was very excited to visit this restaurant, and I was sad not to receive the full experience.

Upon arrival, my friend and I sat and ordered the yucca appetizer, a couple of drinks, and a few pupusas. About 10 minutes later, the yucca arrived with chicharones that were lovely.

Another 30 minutes passed, and my friend asked the owner if it would be possible to get our pupusas to go because we had an appointment. The owner replied yes but that it would be another 20 minutes as they had not yet started making them. We agreed to pay only for what we received and leave since we didn't have the time to wait.
