Went to the west Saint Paul location on a slow Monday night, with only a couple of tables with customers. We Walked in and got in line to order at the counter before sitting down to wait for our food. When we were up next, customers had walked in and immediately got their order taken before us. We had been standing in line for about 7 min at this point. We looked past this, as mistakes happen. We got up to the counter to order, and as we were ordering the cashier AMBER, was very short and snappy as if us ordering was doing something wrong. She even proceeded to question and judge what I was ordering, saying “psh, I’ve never seen anyone order something like that” and proceeded to roll her eyes. I started to get a little bit fed up at this point, but went and sat down to wait for my food. We sat there and waited at least 30 min with only two other tables that had two people each at them. We watched the kitchen make and fill a TON of takeout orders before even making ours. When the meals finally came out, 3 of the 4 orders were incorrect and missing items on each plate, as well as an extra side that was ordered. When we brought these mistakes to the team, the cashier, Amber, proceeded to stomp over and “prove” we did not order that side with a printed out receipt. I then told her that I did order the side as I had asked my boyfriend just before to make sure he wanted it, and he confirmed so I added it to the order. Amber then decides to stand above me at my table and tell me to knock off the attitude, when she came to my table to get involved. I politely responded that I did not have an attitude and expressed that she had in fact been huffing and puffing and stomping around all night with every customer having a clear attitude to everyone around her. When I pointed this out, she shouted in my face, “ I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR BURGER AND DIE!” She then stomped all the way back to the kitchen as we asked to speak to a manager to let him know his employee, Amber is saying these things to guests. We spoke to the manager and were offered a free dessert eye roll after an employee just told me she hopes I die choking on their burger. Once we went and sat back down to finish eating we heard the employee scream in the back “she started it” like an absolute child. I have never in my life been spoken to like this by an employee at a restaurant, and I would strongly suggest not to go to this location. I was threatened here, by an employee, and will never give this place business after how I was treated, and the experience...
Read moreMy partner & I have been very cautious about eating out ( although we only do delivery or to go) especially with Covid going on..so we have stuck with the restaurants we know & trust. Until we craved some BBQ that is. We ordered from Famous Dave's & picked our order up. I was nervous to go in as I had never been to this location & didn't know how the restaurant would be handling Covid in real life. (As we all have seen the signs that say their following blah blah blah ...... But you can tell some of them aren't) well fortunately that was not the case here. I was floored at how clean the entire place was. I'm talking from the parking lot to the inside. It looked so clean you could have ate off their floor. The parts of the kitchen you could see barely looked cooked in. They had signs up asking for 6ft apart & hand sanitizer all over the entire place. Now let's talk about the hostess. She was so kind gave us plenty of BBQ sauce which we appreciate. Our Ribs & Beef Brisket were seasoned Perfectly. But....it was so dry. It should have been cooked way less. We couldn't even eat our leftovers because they were so dry after reheating it was past jerky. Due to the staff being so kind, the cleanliness of the restaurant, & the seasoning of the food we received we gave 4 stars hoping the meat being over cooked was a fluke. We'll be back to try again. Worth visiting if you don't want to worry about...
Read moreHello today is June 30, 2025. I came to this restaurant thinking I was gonna get awesome happy hour meal. I ordered ripped tips. They were very good coleslaw. It was good but when they bought the traditional buffalo wings, they were hard as a rock. I picked around them and ate them, but I should have told her Manager about them. My son came in and he ordered Buffalo wings rip tips and fries. Food looked amazing compared to my food. I rate them no stars at all even though I had to do one star to even rate them. People please don’t be like me complaining if your food is not what you expected to be. I paid seventeen dollars and that’s including a tip if I would’ve known that I would’ve kept my tip. The wings were not worth it at all. I will not be revisiting this famous days again. All they gotta say is I’m sorry about that. You shouldn’t of ate the wings no, you should have had your cooks to not burn the Wings first of all and second of all, you shouldn’t have allowed your waiter to bring burned up wings over to the table. He should have noticed that the wings were burnt. I would not even give them to my dog which I don’t have one. I really wanted my money back, but I know I can’t get it back so be careful what you ask for and please inform them if you not satisfied with your food. This totally my fault trying to be humble.. I Forgive them. Please, if you’re not satisfied, please say...
