Updated Review:
Happy to say rice plates were great and changing my rating from 2 to 4. The service was much better this time around and will go again next time I'm in the area. I wish the portions were a tad bit larger though for the price point.
Old review: Came here after trying it out in the foundry because it was good. Unfortunately I had a bad experience.
I ordered takeout first before a group that got there 5 seconds before me, but the staff decided to make all the food for that dine in group before me. I had to wait a long time for the food because the group ordered so much food. I don't understand why they don't just make both orders at once because it was really rude. My cousin ordered after the group so maybe that's why they decided to not prioritize my order, nevertheless this is not how you should handle it.
They ran out of rice tonight so I didn't get a plate like I wanted to. Instead I got a wrap which was not very good. The wrap was a store bought tortilla wrap that totally threw off the whole dish and made it taste cheap. The size of the wrap was also pretty small compared to my local shawarma restaurant in my town for the same price. At that place, they make their own homemade wraps which makes it taste so much better. I also thought the wrap was missing a lot of flavor.
I wanted to buy the rotisserie chicken but was told it would take an hour. I will come back to try the rice plate and chicken next time, but I do not recommend the wraps. I will update my review once I do so because I feel like this was...

Wife and I love middle eastern cuisine and have been treated to some amazing things over the years courtesy of her Iranian family.
As soon as we walked in the door the smells just grab you and make your mouth water. When we got to the counter and mentioned it was our first time the lady at the register jumped in with suggestions that were really helpful. We ended up with beef shawarma, the three kabob plate, and falafel with regular and spicy hummus along with mint tea.
As soon as my wife took a bite she sighed and said it was like being at her uncles table again.
She liked the beef kabob best where as I preferred the kuftah. Shawarma was excellent but I think I would have preferred it as the classic wrap. Their rice is delicious. I ate my entire serving and part of my wifes. Our falafel was crispy on the outside with a good interior. It paired very well with the hummus. The "spicy" had a great taste but was not spicy to me. The woman at the counter brought me some of their chili paste and that was spicy. Just perfect on on the falafel and kabob alike.
We finished the meal with baklava. My wife told me we should get two two-piece orders because one piece each would not be enough. I disagreed saying moderation is a virtue. She was right. Moderation can hang, that baklava was wonderful. Guys when your wife says get double baklava don't be like me, get...
Read moreThis was our first time here. My daughter and I came about 430ish pm. I noticed the guy in front of me wanted to order a meal but the meat wouldn't be ready for at least 40 mins, he tried to change it up to get something fast but the meal he wanted wouldn't be ready until at least 530pm. I was surprised, it seems like a quick order place but thought maybe because it was the time of day? Not sure. We ordered 2 orders of cheese fries, 2 fountain drinks, and 2 Dubai strawberry chocolate (the strawberries were the real reason we came). The person who took our order was patient and nice. What we ordered was $50. We ate in the restaurant. It was clean and cute. The fountain drinks were not it, weird to say but they tasted awful. They have the same drinks as Sugar Fire ans those taste great but their ratio must be off or something here. Its drinks so no reason to complain but order a different drink other than the fountain drinks. The fries came and not what we were expecting, they were drenched in the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce had a good flavor but why they put so much on was disappointing. The fries were soggy and inedible. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were great. I will definitely give this restaurant another try but will know if you want meat dishes you better order ahead, don't order the fountain drinks, definitely dont order the cheese fries, the dessert...
