Krispy Krab — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Let me start off by saying "The food is Delicious".... now when it comes to service I give this place 1 star. Why? The simple fact that one week you can get the exact same special you did prior & get less food for the same price! I ordered the 15shrimp with 2 potatoes.... one week I receive a tray with 15 shrimp & actually 2 potatoes cut into halves..... the next week I receive a tiny box with 15 shrimp and 1 potatoes cut in half... at $7.50 that is a huge rip-off. I am a valued customer along with many close relatives & locals who live within walking distance of the Krispy Crab. When I explained my concerns as a valued customer I was shrudely talked over & my concern was overlooked with inexcusable excuses & a poor lack of customer appreciation. On top of that I called ahead (knowing how it can get in there) & was dissatisfied when I was served last & given a smaller tray even though 2 customers before me order the exact same thing & more... this was disheartening for me. I no longer feel the love from the Krispy crab & think the poor effort to please be and dish out literally a fair amount of food was atrocious! The thing that most upset me was the fact that my concern was overlooked & I was lied to straight to my face... an hour later I had a friend order the exact same thing making a phone call & I was astounded! Not only did he receive a tray but he had 15 shrimp & 2 full potatoes both cut into halves. I was so upset at the disrespect & straight forward lack of appreciation. This incident CANT be overlooked & I wonder how many more people like me have been treated this way. I'm ashamed to have told so many people such great things about this establishment because they really dropped the ball this time. There's no going back I will NEVER soend another dime at the Krispy Crab. You let me down!!!!...

Please use strong precaution before eating at this place. I supported this business for over 2 years and got cursed out because I tried to return food that made me sick. There was a time before I spent almost $100 and all my food didn't taste fresh or right at all but because I loved the business so much I didn't say anything. Definitely a story of living and learning please don't end up like me. I'm still trying to get the food out of my stomach that made me sick as we speak and I was accused of not even touching the food before trying to return it. The fact that I called and got hung up on for even mentioning a problem with my food rubs me the wrong way. The fact that I went there in a calm manner and let them see the food and was still turned away and called a liar also rubs me the wrong way. I wasted $22 on food that I could have made myself in the first place that's what I get for trying to support people. I will not be returning back to this place ever and I suggest anybody else not to just let them take your money and not say anything if you have a problem.

Prince and Tay is awesome!!! . We are visiting from Fort Lauderdale and when I say freshest sea food and an authentic taste with an authentic sauce I am not kidding. We came here the first day we were in town and had to get it before we we leave. Customer service is one of the best. I live for family business like this. Not only was he authentic in his demeanor the food is authentic and the flavor omg. I wish for them nothing but the best. We wish they would come to the south though we need food like this, but I am willing to do a weekend drive just for this. Believe me when I say don’t go anywhere but here for a seafood boil. I could type an epistle but go there and and try it for yourself, if you don’t like it food is on me, I am that confident in the taste and the service!! All the best guys see you next time we visit.
