I recently had the pleasure of staying at Island View in St. Thomas, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel like part of their family. Their genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every interaction.

The food at Island View was nothing short of exceptional. Each meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds, with fresh, local ingredients and expertly crafted dishes that showcased the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every bite was a celebration of culinary excellence. The chef truly knows how to create memorable dining experiences!

The accommodations were equally impressive, offering stunning views and a comfortable ambiance that allowed us to relax and unwind. The attention to cleanliness and comfort was apparent, making our stay not just enjoyable but also refreshing.

We've been wanting to go to this (steakhouse?) for a while since living on the island. We walked in last Friday 3/14 excited to try the steak and pizza the business constantly raves about on the local Facebook group multiple times a day. Walked inside (to an almost empty restaurant with only 2 tables taken), semi-greeted by the staff who asked us right off if we had a reservation. "Ummm no", as we looked around. They mumbled amongst one another and eventually seated us at a table. The server comes over and explains the "honor bar" which was very confusing. I just wanted wine and were provided a wine list which was underwhelming in terms of brands and prices and expensive for the brand. I'll pay for a good brand. I immediately asked for the pizza menu only to be told the "pizza man" had to leave for an emergency. What?! The owner literally posted the pizza photo a few hours before we arrived. There's only one person who knows how to roll out dough, slap some cheese and toss in the oven? Oh my!! Okay, we tried to pivot and checked out the only 3 steaks on the menu at the Island View "Steakhouse" and was disinterested. Ribeye was a good price but expected more than Waygu and a ribeye for a Steakhouse. We love to eat out and patronize many local restaurants, but this was a huge disappointment and...

My girlfriend and I ate at Island View Steakhouse while we were on St. Thomas. The meal, service, and everything was so exceptional that everywhere else on St. Thomas paled in comparison. The views are amazing and service was above and beyond. All of our needs were met and Libby, one of the owners, personally checked in with us multiple times.

The dining area is beautiful, with a simple elegance that far outpaces other dining locations on the island. It is an open design, and looks over the island and surrounding waters, giving breathtaking views.

Marshall, Libby’s husband, is the chef, and clearly a master of his art. All of the food was divine, among the best we have ever eaten. Compared to meals that I have had across the United States and Canada, this was among the best, hands down.

I will happily be referring friends and family to Island View Steakhouse in the future, as the best restaurant on St. Thomas.
