Yes, the restaurant was busy but it's a very small restaurant. Seated right away. Waited awhile for menus and order to be taken. Here's where the fun begins...had a clear view into the kitchen. The short order cook completes one ticket before she starts another. She reads the next ticket, sometimes throws her hands in the air, shakes her head and gets started. The tickets are stuck to a metal table with magnets and are always being rearranged. It took 53 min for us to receive our food after we ordered. The toast which is pre-made is put on a little shelf so of course, it's cold and the butter is a coagulated little blob in the middle. The charcoal color was also delightful. Over easy eggs were cooked so hard, a butter knife was needed to saw through them. The side of sausage had good flavor for being cold and greasy. The omelet was almost all shredded potatoes and cheese. NOT ONE person came up to our table after the food was delivered to see how the meal was. Waitress came back to ask after the meal was reluctantly eaten. We asked for an iced tea to go. Nope... never happened. On the top of the list of places to NEVER go...

The restaurant was clean, lots of seating and quiet atmosphere. Local farmers were in having breakfast at the table next to us. Was nice listening to them talk about costs, planting, and sharing jokes and laughing. Wasn't impressed with the food. It wasn't bad, just extremely bland. I know restaurants don't add the salt and pepper you do that at the table. But sausage links should have flavor to it, and you shouldn't have to add a lot of salt and pepper to make something taste good. Maybe they had just reseasoned their griddle or something, but it did "lack the luster". So to speak. Would I go back for a fresh breakfast and the atmosphere? Absolutely! The cost was good for the amount of food you get and like I said, the food was good, was just missing something. Everything was fresh and I must admit it's a nice calming drive through the countryside to get there. Oh, and there's ample parking for a...
Read moreHey - THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Good selection on the menu. Great home made pies. What really made this place stand out to me was how friendly EVERYONE was in the restaurant. The place was pretty much full around 3:00. When I walked in, I got smile and nods from almost every table we passed. Clientele was older, as am I, but I could hear some very interesting, well thought out discussions going on around me. With all the political banners in nearly every yard in that area, I expected a less friendly atmosphere. I could not have been more wrong. The absolute best thing about Kozy Corners is the staff. The lady who took our order could not have been more friendly and more patient. Wonderful diner experience. I recommend this place to ANYONE...
