McDonald's — Restaurant in Salem

Manager protects its subordinate even if the later did something wrong.standing infront to order .all people inside ahead of me are gone and this one employee keep walking pass me.ignoring me for reason of personal.when this employee did see me becoz a person just came in and that the reason she started asking me to what order should i want.i said wow! U can see me now! She reply "oh am busy,now am not ".talk about profiling someone! .anyway i continued asking her why and she call the manager nex to her and walk away from the register.manager took over, ask her if she is manager,she replied yes and when i complained about that subordinate of hers the manager defended the action of this employee.then i took order then continue paid and stand aside then,but when turn to look at that protected employee she was holding a phone pretending like she was calling someone or maybe pretending to call local p.d.,so i yell at her ask her who r u calling the local p.d.?!!& then the manager again spoke for her saying she(manager)got a call and that employee just happen to be answering the landline cordless phone,acrually it was intercom..manager defending her employee many times hah! ..any lawyer reading this what do u think??oh yeah the manager actually said after i ask her girlfriend about if she call someone.the manager said i can call local p.d. if u want too sir,saids the manager to me so i said welll i better prepare then walk away and toss the unused empty soda cup on the driveway then just get the f*%&k...

A year ago I would not have even given them a one star rating and really did not want to go in here today but since I left home a little late I decided I did not have enough time to stop at one of my favorite diners just up the road and did think that since I wasn't going to be home for 5 or 6 hours and could really use a bite to eat before I got home that maybe I should grab something I knew would be safe. When I walked in the side door I of course saw the "regulars" seated at their normal table as well as a few other tables occupied. When I got to the counter to place my order there was no mass of confusion but a knowledgeable young lady who took my small order and another possible manager who quickly grabbed the item and handed it to me with a smile. I almost thought I was in some other McDonald's than the one in Salem but I was not, there have either been some changes made here or all my recent visits were made at the wrong time. McDonald's as well as most fast food places are not places I go very often but once in a while you don't have a choice so you need to do what you need to do. Next time if the opportunity permits itself I won't be so cautious but will consider...

#1 the food is so expensive! #2 regardless if I order thought the app or drive through. I always have to wait! Usually I get asked to pull up to wait even when I don't have cars in front or behind me!

#3 why dose it look like my 5 y/o nephew is making these sandwiches? The sandwiches look like everything was literally tossed on it.

Heads up don't ask for a double big Mac! You will be told they don't have it.

You must ask for a big Mac with 4 meat patties! Don't ask for a big Mac with double meat! You won't get 4 meat patties you will get 3!!!!

Just wish this town had other & better options!
