You can tell everything is made with care and love. My husband and I ordered from here the other night. The peaches and baked beans were AMAZING! We also had the bourbon chicken wings which were flavored and cooked to perfection ! The fried cauliflower was season and fried so good! We also got the Mac and cheese bowl. It had fried shrimp ( battered and seasoned ) home made Mac and cheese , and yams . You also can get multiple sauce side choices. It was spectacular. We got the seasoned French fries with cheese and chicken. I added garlic parm sauce. They were so good. Everywhere we had was amazing. My favorite part? The honey bread. I think it’s corn bread base. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from Nellies and we were blown away by the delicious, high-quality, and homemade food. As newcomers to the area, we were thrilled to find such a hidden gem. Every dish was bursting with unbelievable flavors, especially the Nola's Shrimp Po Boy which was perfectly lightly breaded and the sauce was to die for, next time I am going to ask for extra shrimp for the sandwich as the shrimp was so good. We also enjoyed the honey bread, soul roll, breaded chicken wings with hot honey sauce, seasoned fries, and jaws sandwich - all were absolutely delicious. Came in with my wife and son to check this spot out and boy was it worth the visit. The staff was super friendly and the food was AMAZING. The garlic Parm wings were on point! Normally these wings tend to be greasy and make me sick after a few but these did not. Definitely found my wing stop!! My wife ordered the Nellie's chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and raved about it. We sat inside to eat and the tables have chess sets at them which was great for my son. We got to play chess while we waited for our food which did not take long to come out hot and fresh.
