Not sure if its open now. Excellent examlpe of 20th century railroad depot. The C&EI Depot survived abandonment in the 1970s thanks to local preservationists. In 1995, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #95000632) for its architectural and historical significance as a well-preserved example of Prairie School-influenced rail design and its role in Salem's transportation history.
