Which Wich Superior Sandwiches — Restaurant in Salem

The manager was very friendly and informative. He answered all of our questions and helped us through the new ordering procedure. I am used to Subway and Chipotle and their assembly line operation. This place has you fill out an order form that will be the bag your sandwich comes it. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was supposed to come with deli sliced chicken but there was a supply chain snafu so they used cut chicken breast. It was great this way. We also got the BLT with avocado. It was also very good and they got a decent amount of bacon on it. I feel sorry for them that their sharpies keep walking away. They need to tape big flowers on them like other places that have to supply pens. There is too much aluminum foil being used to wrap the sandwiches and there is no way to separate for recycling. The wrapping paper is also substantial in it's quantity and quality. The packaging waste is the only real negative I can think of. I will go back with...

Very good spot to have some lunch, to get really good sandwiches, served hot and made of really fresh and tasty goods. While staying here in Salem, VA, this Which Wich bar is definitely my favourite one!! Strongly recommend it. Especially that the entire service here is very quick, professional and always very friendly. Wow! This was a phenomenal experience! This was my first time at Which Wich and the staff made sure to explain how their ordering system works. You pick up a bag that has their menu printed on it and mark exactly what you want.

Since I’m on a diet I selected their chicken salad lettucewich. Basically a sandwich wrapped in lettuce instead of bread. Eating healthy food tends to leave you hungry but this was very filling. I appreciated that the staff told me the best way to eat since it has the potential of unwrapping.

We were there as part of a group and someone ordered French fries. Even though I’ve been disciplined with my diet I had to try one. It was hard not ordering my own because they were great.
