Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Salinas

I’ve came here 4 times in total my whole life and all those 4 times it’s been a bad experience. No matter how clear and how many times I repeat myself, they never seem to get my drink right, not to mention that the workers take their sweet time doing the drinks. It’s always packed inside and I’ve had to wait about 10 minutes for an iced water only to get straight faucet water. And let’s not get started on the drive through because the line is always long, mix that up with slow workers and that’s a recipe for disaster. I’ve given them my card to pay (drive thru) for a drink that is around $5.00 only to come to find out I wasted $8.00. I do not recommend as I think they used my card to tip themselves! and I never wanted to tip them, maybe they would get a tip if they did...

PLEASE READ!!!! Please do not give them your card! Make sure that card stays in your hand at all times. I went this morning, got a medium drink and a sandwich, which was all $11. I pull up the the window, she hands me my drink, I give her my card without even thinking about it (bad idea) and then she hands me my sandwich, which turns out not to be what I ordered( but it’s food so no big deal). Then she hands me my card back super fast and closes the door which I thought was weird. Something told me to check my balance on my card and turns out the girl tipped herself maximum amount without asking me!!!! If she would have just asked I would have given her a tip. I am appalled that the 1598 n sanborn Rd Salinas ca location is open for business. I walked into the location and it smelled like feces. I asked why it smelled so weird, and I was told the sewage had backed up and flooded the store yesterday. The simple fact that the employees are cleaning it up is appalling because a bio hazard crew should be doing the cleaning. These poor kids are at risk of disease. The management should be fired for allowing this to happen. Not to mention putting customers at risk as well. For so much money the company makes, this is ridiculous and sad.
