I am typically a very easy person to please, but after having several unsatisfactory visits to this Burger King, I have decided to share my most recent experience.
I chose THIS location, because: 1- it is typically quieter than the other location which is roughly equidistant to our home. 2- it is more modern in decor and pleasing to the eye. 3- although we don't typically go to this location (because we ALWAYS have issues with them), I was hoping they would prove me wrong, since I wasn't feeling well, and didn't want to to travel the extra miles to go to the other location, passing our home on the way there. 4- due to visible uncleanliness in their dining area (though it wasn't incredibly obvious, it was rather visible), I didn't dare use the restroom.
REGARDING THE VISIT: 1- a blue glove (such as someone would wear when taking out the trash or working with a wound) was left on the ground by the garbage can directly by the front door - and it wasn't lying flat either. 2- I should have expected it, because EVERY time we visit ANY of our local BKs: the freestyle machine is out of HiC Orange Vanilla, so I had to spend time trying to decide what to drink (which is more difficult for me, since the freestyle didn't have many non-carbonated drink options) 3- Considering how long we waited for our meal, the burgers and fries should have been HOT. They were BARELY warm. As in, not really warm enough to call them warm, but I'm trying to be generous. 4- My son's CHEESEBURGER didn't have cheese, so he had to have them remake his burger. 5- I eat far too quickly, but even having eaten my burger rather quickly, the fries were already too cold for me to enjoy, which is saying A LOT, because I actually don't mind BK fries cold ... at the END of my visit. When I took them to the counter to ask for them to be replaced, I told them (the cashier AND the manager were both standing there) the fries were BARELY warm. Both guys just looked at me as if they didn't understand what I had said, so I explained they weren't warm enough. They still just looked at me, so I had to ASK if they would replace them. I didn't hear an apology from either of them, but was given a replacement order momentarily. Even these fries weren't as hot as I expected, but they were hot enough that I was much happier with them.
REGARDING THE RECEIPT (these are complaints more against BK as a company): 1- the receipt says to complete the survey IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS (72 would be better), and 2- get a validation code for a "FREE WHOPPER". Then, it states "Food purchase required and restrictions may apply." So, I don't actually get a FREE whopper, because I have to PAY for a drink and a side in order to use my code. So, it's not ACTUALLY FREE. That's false advertisement. I'd much rather be offered a free pie, side, or drink that is...
Read moreDate 9/3/2023 Time: around 11:40 AM. Ordered 2 for 5 whopper jr cheese with bacon. Drive 3 minutes away to eat and there was no bacon, both were cold and cheese was cold like it was pulled right from the fridge. Drive back the lady at the window was great I might add, she apologized and offered me some bacon but sandwiches were cold so I said I’d prefer hot food so she agreed to remake the order. I offered the same burgers back and she said she’s not allowed to take back so I thought I’d give them to homeless I see in my way home. 2 minutes later a rude woman different ethnicity came to the windo and asked for the old order and insisted she needs to take them to throw them away. I handed them back but thought to myself how rude she was! After wasting my time and getting my order wrong which I had proved by showing them the burgers didn’t contain bacon, the least they should do is allow the customer to keep the food for the inconvenience.
Finally received the new order and drive away. Got home to eat and one of the burgers has only a small tiny piece of bacon on it about an inch long, just one tiny piece, the other had two pieces about one and a half inch long. Why bother ? Is it management that advises to cheat the customer ?
To sum it up, the food was terrible, they wasted my time and It was an insult when the other women came to the window with a rude attitude to collect food that I’d already been told to keep and that was partly eaten. Every time I go to a Burger King I’m disappointed and tell myself I won’t go back but this time was the last time for sure. At least the 1st lady that took my order was pleasant because most fast food places you don’t see...
Read moreOVERVIEW - 4.0 Honestly, I'm not sure why I keep coming back... We typically come here when we're heading to the NPS store and we're kind of Hangry (Hungry and Angry).
LOCATION - 5 They actually have a pretty good location there along, Redwood Road.
PRICE - 4 It's a Burger King their prices are rather cheap for the most part, trying to compete with McDonalds.
PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 My wife and I ordered their Chicken Cordon Bleu (a limited of time sandwich), and it was stellar! I can't think of another chicken sandwich that I have ever tried that has even come close to this sandwich. What is even more surprising is that it came from this run-down, under energetic, fast food restaurant. Also got it in a medium meal, so the fries and the freestyle coke machine...
POINTERS/PERKS - N/A None that I can really think of.
EMPLOYEES - 2 This is the one that gets to me. The young lady that served us at the counter was very bland. No emotion, and it was obvious that she didn't want to be there. Her services were extremely minimal, as if she didn't even want to give us the time of day. There was another time I came here through the drive thru and saw employees out back smoking. That usually turns me off, knowing that they're puffing it up, and then they go back in and prepare my food, I know they supposedly wash their hands and all, but still the thought of third degree...
