El Morelense West Valley — Restaurant in West Valley City

It it extremely concerning how the owner/manager allows the cashiers and front end staff to treat their customers. I have been a avid visitor due to the great fresh tacos. But 2 recent incidents really dialed it in that they just do not care. I ordered 6 tacos left to the filthy restroom to wash my hands, came back my order was called I unfortunately threw away the receipt with my order number so staff refused to give me my order. I was baffled because never did the cashier inform me or this change nor is there signs indicating a physical receipt is needed. After minute of embarrassing confrontation, I ordered cashier to please issue a refund if she was unable to verify me as a paying customer of my order so finally she gave me my food. On a different occasion we asked for a box to go, again the aggressiveness of the employees is baffling. All we asked for was for a to go box we were willing to pay for the box if payment was the issue. The tacos are good, environment is dirty. The online ordering system sent my order to the south jordan location, when I went to pick up my order I was informed that my order was not placed at the West Valley location we attempted to cancel the order through the South Jordan location via phone with no answer (I was contacted about 1 hour later, basicallyscolded for the faulty online system by South Jordan Morelense ). I was on lunch break and they filled my order as soon as they could at no additional charge ,I offered to pay at least half as I didn't want the order to be free but the gentlemen that helped me said he would take the loss as long as we my work crew had our lunch and were taken care of. He provided beyond amazing customer service even though it is a loss at his expense that is QUALITY customer service. We stood in line for about 10 minutes to order. I ordered three tacos which took 37 minutes from the time printed on the register receipt until I received my food. This seems incredibly long! The tacos were mediocre at best. Maybe I am too Americanized. The tortillas themselves were fine. But the meat on the carne asada taco and the suadero taco was COMPLETELY unseasoned. (the al pastor meat included one piece of pineapple and was better.) All three tacos had plenty of meat on them But that's ALL they had - nothing else!
