This place is awesome! If you haven’t been I definitely recommend it. I worked nearby for years and would order from Maxi’s a pretty fair amount for staff meetings and other functions. I got to know the owner pretty well because of this. (I mentioned to the owner ONCE that my boss really liked their jalapeño aioli, like he would put it on basically anything.. and we’d always end up with a few extra of those whenever we ordered even on the order we got today!) So yeah he’s got a great business and he really cares about his customers and so does his team! [We have had a couple people with dietary restrictions (no gluten and vegetarian) and without fail if I didn’t mention that we needed a gluten free or vegetarian option they would ask!] Reliable and timely delivery and quality communication throughout the process is another perk of Maxi’s. The team always made sure we had everything when delivering. I think there’s only been like one time I’ve had to call about missing something in all the years I’ve been ordering, (I’ve been ordering from them for probably 4-5 years so one time is a pretty good track record!) I had placed a last minute order and they were willing to accommodate the order even though they had another large order they were working on that day! They were quick to see how they could best make it right! Needless to say, I don’t recall ever having anything that tasted bad or recall having a bad or even so-so experience at Maxi’s they’ve always been outstanding to work with and I will continue ordering from them even if it’s not as often now that our new location isn’t as close! I recommend the Cranberry Walnut Salad with grilled chicken added if you’re unsure what to get (with the poppyseed dressing of course)! This was by far the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t even give it to my dog. We placed several orders for ourselves and our guests, and everyone was extremely disappointed. I’ve never seen a Philly cheesesteak served in a hot dog bun, and it had absolutely no flavor. I won’t be ordering from here again. The sandwich cost $10 before tax, but I wouldn’t even eat it if it were free." I CALLED AND PRE ORDERED MY FOOD 9:30 TO PICK UP AT 11:30 AND I GOT MY FOOD, THINGS I ORDERED WAS NOT IN THE BAG. THEN MY FOOD ALL OF IT WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. 44.65$ I SPENT AND I CALLED TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND STILL HAVE THE FOOD TO RETURN TO THEM. I CAME BACK THE NEXT MORNING AND I WANTED MY MONEY BACK I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER AND HE SAID HIM SELF HE LEFT MY FOOD OUT FOR A LONG TIME.!
