Redwood Lounge — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Went in twice prior to this experience, both times I found were very mediocre however I try to give a place a few chances before I judge. However this most recent visit was rather disappointing. I went in at 12:30, most places i have been to will continue to sever people till 1 and i had just dropped in hoping to grab a quick beer before last call. Apparently they do not serve anymore drink after a little after midnight? First thing if they are going to do this I would understand however they should advertise it as they have no signs or anything saying this you are apparently just expected to know. Also I could be rather understanding of this, however when i came in rather then the bartender just telling me this I sat down and waited for almost 10 minutes while the bartender wiped glasses I was trying to be polite and patient he never said a word to me. Eventually another client who was clearly a regular at least was kind enough to tell me and then she proceeded to even yell at the bartender for me in which he response was very rude and laced with attitude. Overall my experience there just has not lended itself to a welcoming environment and I would recommend finding another establishment if you wish to enjoy...

What's funny about this family business is they fail to realize who's really in charge. The customer is Redwood Lounge. Bob and his kid really think they're special. On more than one occasion I received attitude from the bar tenders (waitress was more than polite and professional). I remeber leaving and going to The Puck and spending $60 dollars just despite the service and attitude I received at this bar. Totally ghetto they only work on cash. It's probably a facility front for drugs. Why else in this Bluetooth modern society would this place be operating on cash only? Really, I do not like they're "what can you do for...

Have not been here in years since I moved to Nevada so my review is from several year back. Bobby was really good to me and helped me out when I needed some help. Im glade to see that Susie (my partner in crime) is still working there. She was always very kind to me even when she worked at Club Rendezvous.
