The Other Side Donuts — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

This place is AMAZING!! We happened to be in the area and this happy, colorful building caught our eye so we turned around to check it out. They weren't officially open yet as the place was busy with several people working hard on various finishing projects. It was our lucky day though.... they had freshly baked donuts and had filled their donut case as kind of a "soft opening". (I believe they said grand opening would be June 26.)

Not only are the donuts creative and tasty (so super sweet), this place has the most beautiful mission. They are part of the Other Side Village project and are working hard to help those who have experienced chronic homelessness. The manager explained the purpose of the Other Side Village project and we were impressed by their mission and care to help others. All of the people working were patient, friendly and helpful (as I wanted to know what flavors were in every single donut).

Inside and out is colorful and beautiful and such a fun, happy atmosphere. You can tell there has been a lot of thought and work put into creating this place and the artwork is fun and beautiful. Definitely a great cause to support. Looking forward to visiting again and seeing the finished storefront and purchasing more donuts....

Did you know The Other Side Donuts hosts birthday parties? I found out just in time to plan my daughter's birthday there. TOSD goes above and beyond any other birthday party place. I was so impressed with the decorations, the party favors, the activities, and, of course, the donuts. But the best part were the employees helping us with the party. They stayed with us through the whole party, helping us keep track of the kids (there were a lot), keeping the activities and games on track, and just making sure everything was wonderful. I have never received such excellent service for a birthday party. Some places are just a bare room and an employee who "checks in." Some places add a balloon or two. TOSD went all out for my daughter's birthday party--and even gave her one of her favorite presents. I am so impressed and so grateful for all...

I love this doughnut shop, I drive by it all the time on redwood. I came accrossed a Facebook post about a Easter egg hunt, I asked my oldest if she would want to go and have some doughnuts before the Easter egg hunt! We walked in and this place was set up amazingly! They have a small space for children to play. If you found 2 golden bunnies you get a free doughnut and coffee. We placed our order! And the doughnuts are freaking adorable!!! We sat down ate our order. And they guys here are phenomenal! I highly suggest stopping in. Just for a doughnut or coffee. The Easter egg hunt was fun! My toddler and my oldest had a blast! We will be returning for just doughnuts and coffee or if you do another Easter egg hunt next year we will be back! Please give this small business your business they are well...
