Uinta Brewing Co — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

My wife and I walked in with our two month old, and asked to drink at the brewery. We were told no, that no one under the age of 21 was allowed in the brewery, that it was “state law.” That is not true at all, my wife and I have been to a handful of breweries over the last two months with our newborn and have been able to sit and have a drink. What do they think we’re going to do, get our 2 month old drunk? Before anyone gets feisty, I was going to have a drink, and my wife was going to drive, as we don’t drink and drive, especially with a baby. We brought this point up to the brewery staff member, and they told us that we had to leave. This was a shock to us, because we have been to other breweries for the exact same thing. We will never be going back to Uinta brewing, nor spending a single penny on their beers ever again. Good job losing a customer over 1...

Brewery with a nice restaurant attached. Great atmosphere, cool vibe with industrial design. Food was yummy!! Made a change to my nachos, had chips replaced with sweet potato tater tots! Not on the menu but I highly recommend you ask. Shout out to the chef for making it for me! My BF had a Rueben Sandwich & loved it. Portions were a good size, we got super full, I even had leftovers to take home! Tried the apple pie beer, it was good but I’m usually a pear beer drinker and was hoping it was a little sweet. Not at all, But it is beer so not a deal breaker. Awesome staff! The hostess, bartender/waitress and the gal in the souvenir shop were all super nice and personable!! We were able to bring our dog along and sit on the outside patio. Didn’t have a chance to tour the brewery but we will definitely be back so...

So disappointing. The beer was good, which is why I gave 2-stars. The food was terrible. Had the knuckle sandwich and the roast beef was tough and dry - almost inedible. But even the food was better than the service. Worst service I think I’ve ever had. It wasn’t busy, there were multiple workers, so that wasn’t an excuse. Arrogant, rude and indifferent come to mind. I guess it’s because I’m not a local, as the servers spent all their time talking with those at the bar and whenever I came to the bar they acted as if I was interrupting them. Apparently they focus on taking care of the locals - great if you’re a regular but sucks for anyone from out of town. Overall a bad experience and I won’t be returning. Too bad because the beer was...
