Port of Subs — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

We’ve been ordering from this POS location for years and have always appreciated their service, especially when catering our group events. However, today’s experience was disappointing.

We placed a small order by phone for seven sandwiches, requesting all the standard toppings. The call was difficult my order had to be repeated multiple times because they couldn’t hear clearly. When I picked up the sandwiches for our employee retreat and handed them out, I quickly learned that each one was missing all toppings—just meat and a single side, no lettuce, dressings, or extras.

I drove back to the store to address the mistake and asked if they could correct the order or provide a credit for a future visit. They declined, stating they could only help if I returned the sandwiches as proof, the photos were not sufficient. I hadn’t expected to need to bring them back, especially since the sandwich maker reportedly found the order odd at the time, and was helping me on the second visit.

Unfortunately, the manager was dismissive and unwilling to offer any resolution—no refund, no credit, no effort to make things right. Given this experience and the lack of customer service, we’ll be looking for a new sandwich shop for our future corporate...

Port of Subs is already far superior than Subway in my opinion. Every Port of Subs I’ve been to has been superb and this one is no different. The ladies running it do an awesome job and I especially love Racsamee because she greets me by name every time I come in and that really puts a smile on my face and allows me to have a better day than I might be having. I typically look forward to a sandwich from Port of Subs. They have a nice selection and they are a superior option when compared to other big name national chains. I enjoy both the classic subs and flatbread options. Sandwiches always taste great and the meats stand out as far as flavor is concerned. Employees are cheerful and on top of things.
