If I could give a zero, then I would. I absolutely can’t stand the way that you all do not listen to fellow Utah citizens. The amount of complaints that have come through for eastbound and westbound traffic on Porter Rockwell and Redwood Rd, and are quickly dismissed, is quite disheartening. You clearly don’t care about the safety of those traveling this intersection each day. Dismissing our complaints to improve this and responding to only the Mayor’s comment, with a slight dig at our intelligence about how math works, is outrageous. Please fix this intersection before more accidents occur. People are turning north or south just to make U-turns to then make it across the intersection. The way UDOT is handling infrastructure and build-out in Saratoga Springs, UT can be considered terrible at best. Today 8/29 Redwood Road was shut down to a single lane, at rush hour, and there were literally tens of thousands of drivers stuck for multiple hours. Also, hundreds, if not thousands, of young school children were stranded at bus stops or considerably late for school. This was the worst traffic I've experienced in the 15 years I've lived here, which I'm sure is impacting local resident's employment and children's educations. Multiple complaints were filed I'm sure but it is obvious there is no accountability for these poor decisions (which I believe were made outside of guidelines). Hey UDOT, there's this new invention called sensored traffic lights. You may not have heard of it. It's only been around for about 40 years or so. Ya'll say that you want to cut down carbon emissions but there I sit at a red light, idling, zero traffic from the adjacent directions. Then again what do you care? You probably don't even read these reviews. (Then why do I write one you ask? I have stuff that I want to get off of my chest. And there's hope that maybe someone will read it.)
