This location really needs a ZERO. They need to improve pretty much everything! They are the most incompetent McDonalds I have ever been to. They screw up every order we make then give nothing but attittude and excuses instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, and making things right. Today's excuse was that they were allegedly told they would "get in trouble" If they asked customers what size drink they wanted. I do NOT believe that whatsoever. Every other locations including this one when we have been there prior asks you what size drink you want If you do not specify even though we DID specify! I ordered myself a large iced coffee separate that was literally all I wanted for myself and issues like this is EXACTLY why. I refuse to order myself food from this location bc they have NEVER gotten it right.I then ordered my daughter a $5 mcchicken meal deal and specified WITH A LARGE SPRITE! Why would they charge me an upcharge and include my coffee with her meal then ring up a small sprite using the excuse that a small drink automatically comes with the meal. First off both drinks were supossed to be LARGE. Secondly, WHY was a small drink rang up separate but my coffee put with the meal?! Makes absolutely no sense in the world and they wanted to give attitude and excuses. The lady contradicted herself multiple times and made various excuses. Finally at the end she gave us back the coffee upcharge and charged us a different lesser upcharge fee for a bigger sprite. Then after all the extra trouble and back & forth the large sprite they gave her wasn't even actually sprite it was either water mixed with sprite or they needed to refill their fountain bc It was DISGUSTING! In reality not only should they have fixed the upcharge but they also should've refunded us for the sprite and rang up a large coffee instead which costs more. A large coffee Is $2.18, a small drink Is $1.29. I have given more than 3 strikes with this location and Iam done. I won't be back. But corporate definitely needs to make an appearance and try to make sure everyone is on board and has the correct understanding of the actual policy so they do not continue to lose business and money with extra confusion and mistakes like this. They very deeply need to improve their customer service! Coming up with your arms crossed huffing and puffing rolling your eyes and running your mouth Is NOT the way to satisfy a customer or make them want to return to...
Read moreWe pulled in the parking lot, and there was a worker in the parking lot talking to her boyfriend and saying very bad profanity works! The door that you walked into smells like a cigarette! We looked all around near the door to see where that smell was coming from, and there were cigarettes that had been put out, but they were saving them for another time use, I guess... We walked in the door, and all of the chairs were already up on all of the tables!! This was right before 9 pm! They guy up front at the register walked off from us, and no one else was around up front to help take our order. We kept waiting and waiting.. I looked around at the employees that were in regular street cloths were in the back and then walked all through the front tongot out that side door. That was not the regular rules. An employee was eating at a table. I Iooked at her and said there's no place to set and eat, if we even got to get waited on! She didn't say anything. That restaurant was so very nasty compared to how it used to be around 8 years ago. The employee that was in street cloths came back through the side door and was going back to the kitchen. I asked for the manager because no one was even worried about us being waited on. A guy manager came out. And I was floored!! He looked stung out of his head and looked so unprofessional and nasty looking! I told him that I had been waiting there for more than 5 minutes on the guy employee who walked off from us. So, the managers attitude was unbelievable!! He said, "What do you think I should do about it?" in a very weird way of not even caring of us waiting there and no one to help us. Something needs to straighten up this whole environment!! Employees were so rude and loud all in and out in the parking lot! I will never be back there again! I could not believe what I...
Read moreThe food is alright and it's nice being able to get free items through the app and order at the kiosk because it reduces mistakes. But I feel like the atmosphere as a whole has taken a huge hit since the pandemic. There's nobody dedicated to running the register; the poor folks are pulling double duty between the window and front counter, which means you just have to hope you grab their attention when they come out. There are also no condiment dispensers, no drink fountains, napkin boxes or anything in the dining area, so if you get to your seat and realize you want some ketchup you've gotta go chase somebody down again, or just dig under the counter yourself. On top of all that, last time I dined in I got hit with 3 taxes; federal sales tax, local sales tax and a mysterious third tax I've been told is a "dine in fee" levied by McDonald's. When I was a kid McDonald's was always full, and in the mornings there was a coffee pot crew of older men who would spend their mornings there eating breakfast, drinking coffee and socializing. Dairy Queen has taken over that role as the McDonald's feels more like a sterile hospital, while DQ feels more homey. This is all besides the increase in prices. Some items, like the McChicken, are affordable, but if you want to sit down and feed your family, you'd be much better off to just go to Mi Hacienda or Bob Evans or something. Prices have more than doubled since I worked there as a kid in 2005ish to the point that a meal there costs more than their workers make in an hour. McDonald's is failing at the very thing that made them popular in the beginning, decent enough food that's quick and affordable. They're quick, and it's ok, but the dining room is barren, the kitchen understaffed, the prices getting too high and they're charging you extra if you want to sit at a...
