Huddle House — Restaurant in San Angelo

Oh my gosh you would not believe how freaking amazing the blueberry and cream cheese French toast is at Huddle House. I introduced myself to the new cook” Avan” and it was a slam dunk on the perfectly cooked French toast with piping hot blueberries all over the top and drizzled with cream cheese. Of course I had to ask for extra blueberries and cream cheese smothered now I am so stuffed and satisfied I don’t know if I can get out of the booth to go pay. Then there is the most freaking amazing manager named Jacob which is normally the cook/waiter and everything else that you can imagine. He totally kills it when he cooks for you and you will never meet a more friendly, outgoing, attentive, patient and friendly human being. After you meet him you will work out here feeling like you just gained a new best friend. Then I come to find out just about every event that happens in San Angelo that has live bands he is one of the singers, guitar players, and song writers. He told me he will be head lining when they have the beer and bands concert downtown San Angelo when they block off several blocks you can witness his amazing skills. I have a very stressful active night time job and I LOVE to just come and get a soft booth, plug in my phone and unwind while they attend to me and spoil spoil me with awesome service, extremely kind and outgoing staff. I have never been to a more welcoming restaurant. Also there isn’t another amazing cook/waiter whose name is Danny that will also go out of his way to make your experience at the Huddle House fantastic. Huddle House struck gold when they hired all these amazing staff. And I can’t forget about Becca and Jessy. Fantastic job you guys thanks for making me feel so warm...

June 1, 2024: Today, our server was Geo, and he was fantastic! Even though the restaurant was very busy, he did an amazing job. Our order was perfect (thanks also to the cooking staff!), delivered quickly, and very tasty. As I mentioned, today was a particularly busy, Geo was very attentive and made sure to offer coffee refills and to clear dishes when we were finished. I also saw him and the other server working really hard to make sure orders were delivered quickly and new customers were seated as quickly as possible. In addition to these duties, they were very quick to clear and clean tables, so new arrivals did not have to wait very long. I absolutely love Huddle House and especially the staff. They are always warm and courteous. Thank you, Geo, and everyone else. You continue to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

My wife, son, and I had a craving for breakfast for dinner, and this was the perfect place! Our servers, Maddie and Tessa, were very attentive and took great care of us. One of the most amazing things was that they were out of coffee filters, but Tessa didn't let that stop her from getting me my cup of coffee. They not only took the larger tea filters and cut them to fit, but amazingly one of our servers, Maddie, went right then to Walmart to get filters just to make sure I got my coffee. All I can say about this dining experience is WOW!!! and AMAZING!!!! The food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely beyond exceptional!!! Thank you to Maddie and Tessa!!!

We spent $30 on our food.

As we walked in, we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and fast. And got what I ordered. Service: I give it an 8 out of 10

The atmosphere was quiet, pleasant, family oriented. They could probably do with a new set of benches because they were worn out. But the high chairs were clean, and I didn’t need to ask for them to be wiped again. Atmosphere/overall look: 5 out of 10

I ordered two fried eggs, Skillet potatoes, Bacon, Toast and one pancake. The fried eggs were just the way I wanted them, medium. The potatoes were very well seasoned, the bacon was crispy. The toast was buttered and the pancake was nice and fluffy, plus Buttered. And was pleasantly surprised that they had sugar-free Syrup that actually tasted amazing.

My baby, who is closely turning 2. Had Two eggs scrambled with cheese and ketchup. And one pancake. He ate it up and left nothing! He absolutely loved it. Food 8 out 10

Previously(months back), I had went in the morning and the food wasn’t so great. It was bland. The toast was burnt. The pancakes tasted off. the bacon looked raw/undercooked. I decided I wasn’t gonna come back ever again. but for some reason, I decided to go again not feeling like cooking and it was close by. 🤷‍♀️ And I was not disappointed. I asked who cooked my food and finding out it was a guy named Joseph and Rosie. Thank you so much for the amazing food.
