I placed an order on line and went to pick it and it wasn't ready because the online system was down, it caused me to be late back to work. Hike I was there I observe a lady cooking either fish or chicken and stopped to sweep the floor, she wasn't wearing gloves or a hairnet and went back to cooking without washing hers hands, I was really disappointed because someone recommended the store. The food was good once I got past the cleanliness part so I'm decided to give it another try. I called in my order this time, and was told 15 minutes. I got there after 20. First there were 3 people at the counter, all 3 ignored me for a good 5 minutes, finally a guy came up and said my order was going to be a while because the cook only dropped 2 fish instead of 6, one of the 3 was the he cook at the counter. I observed the cook going back to drop more fish. Why they waited until I got there to drop the other 4. I told them I would be back but after leaving it realized that the first 2 pieces of fish would be cold even if I went back, so I called and cancelled I have not seen this way of doing business in a while, no apology not a drink while I wait but it's going to be a while after 20 minutes. I will not return to that store nor will I recommend it either, you lost a good customer. People come to my job all the time asking for good...
Read moreI visited the 29th and Bryant location on Saturday July 20th at appx. 9:30 pm. The food we received was so awful my dog couldn't eat it. I ordered chicken breast, Cole slaw (was told it was out), mushy nasty fried okra, and rancid unsweet tea. I have eaten here many times, and never received such horrible food, and service. This was a take out order. When I got home, (no silverware, salt, or napkins), I discovered brown corn on the cob, and fossilized chicken breast, and Elly May Clampit biscuits. No butter for my corn, either. At appx. 9:55 the store was called, given our name and told us to return on Sunday, and our order would be replaced. W R O N G !!!!!! Instead, some very unclean manager woman, comes outside and argues with me, and tells me O N L Y T H E C H I C K E N, would be replaced. We were not told that the night before. It was roughly $20.00 bucks worth of nastiness, bad service, and horrible business practices. We asked if we needed to save the food, and we were told NO!!! THEN UNCLEAN WOMAN states we were supposed to return it. GOOD COMPANY TRAINING???? Whomever trains these employees need to keep the rules consistent, and teach that the customer always pays their salaries, and too many unhappy customers mean store...
Read moreStopped to eat with my wife and daughter about 45 mins to close on 05/20/2017. We all ordered the 3 piece meal and were eating our first piece when my wife asked me to smell her drumstick. She said it tasted horrible and smelled bad. It smelled of rotten decomposing meat. I almost threw up right then and there and had my daughter stop eating. I took the drumstick to the staff and a older Hispanic lady who had been sweeping behind the counter. She said it smelled ok but said she doesn't like eating the chicken there. She also said their chicken was cooked fresh every day. That doesn't mean the chicken was stored properly before it was cooked. A younger male employee agreed that it smelled rotten. I was too disgusted to even stick around and argue for a refund. The staff didn't even offer a refund. The next day we all had stomach aches and nausea. Never going back to ANY Chicken Express...
