Al's Pizza Shop — Restaurant in San Antonio

Ugh, where do I start with this place. Just moved from Land O Lakes to Wesley Chapel and was looking for a good local pizza spot. Reviews and photos looked good so we gave this place a shot, twice. First time they messed up our order and didn't have all the ingredients in our order. Second time, we ordered 7 pizzas and it was a total mess. Pizzas were overcooked and missing ingredients, keep in mind, I placed the order 4 hours in advance. The Margherita pizza was basically a cheese pizza with sliced tomatoes on top. No basil, no blots of mozzarella, no olive oil. Just a cheese pizza with sliced tomatoes and it was gross. I posted a photo of this gross mess. The White pizza was basically a cheese pizza. No feta, no ricotta. If there was any, it was just a sprinkle of each. When I called to inform the manager of the issues I had, she just wanted to tell me that that's how they are made and she makes them all the time and that ricotta cheese blends in with mozzarella. No, I don't think so. Ricotta doesn't melt into mozzarella. Have you ever had a calzone before? The ricotta and mozzarella don't just become one huge cheese, they are separated. It's an expensive cheese and they just don't want to use it. I would not recommend this place to anybody and would stay away. My family and I have only eaten here twice. Both times fundraisers for my daughter’s school. The first time, the waiter placed the wrong order for us. Therefore our pizzas came out wrong. The server placed a rush order for the correct pizzas. We ate with another family, we told the server we had separate tickets. Unfortunately the tickets were completely incorrect. Now onto the second time. This evening we went once again for a fundraiser for the school. Server came out we ordered drinks and apps. About an hour later we started asking where our pizzas are, we were told they are baking give us just a few minutes. 15 min later we are told the computers messed up orders didn’t go back and the pizzas are still cooking. At this point we asked for the pizzas to be removed it’s getting late. We were then told we can comp it and then box it up. But the whole purpose is to raise money for the school. Another server came around grabbing plates, trash and drinks. I wasn’t even done with my beer and she threw it away. Then she tried to take my water away. The same server snatching our items told us the kids in the back are the reason and they are so young. Myself and another adult told her it’s no excuse it’s a business the owner should be aware of what is going on. While out looking for potential places to live, we passed this little pizza place twice and both times, we weren’t hungry. By the third time, we both were starving. Let me tell you, I am SO glad we decided to stop! Both of us are on a limited diet and as much as we love and wanted to try the pizza, we couldn’t. So we both decided to try the Greek salad and when I tell you I’m glad we did, that is an understatement. The entire salad was so fresh! The potato salad was soooo good and that dressing complimented it so well. The only thing missing were pickled beets, but I’m a beets snob lol I regret it so much that I didn’t catch our server’s name, but she was AMAZING! We came in around 4ish to eat, so I hope that helps in narrowing it down as to who she was and I hope even more that you do your due diligence by commending her for her outstanding customer service. We, (myself and my boyfriend) live in Citrus County and neither of us have been to San Antonio and we were chatting about our interest in the area and our waitress gave us some really good feedback on the neighborhoods.
