In response to the owners reply. Apparently your staff added turkey to the Italian sub or gave me a turkey sandwich with Italian sub components in it. So instead of insinuating I don’t know what I ordered, I’d start there and train your staff better. Me and my guest both ordered Italian Subs and received what I previously reviewed. Regardless, you have a LONG way to go before your sub’s are of 5 star quality.

I wanted to like this place. The service was normally friendly. Interior of the small deli was nice and clean. A diner at the next table really liked the daily special pot roast when I asked. But we disagree with the previous posters on the quality of the Italian sub. It’s basically store bought cold cuts on store bought bread. FYI, Italian subs DON’T have turkey in them. This sandwich can be made at home. Nothing special about it. Lettuce was to green. You should only use the crisper parts of the lettuce for a sub. The Italian seasoning was non existent. Try Papa Dante’s War Hero Sandwich in Converse and get back to me. Even Jersey Mikes, a franchise, serves a better Italian. I would remove it from the menu if this is your...

My Italian sandwich and pasta combo had no extras involved. Every bite was evenly distributed and I ate the entire sandwich with no mess or lump of bread in the end. The crust was so soft I couldn’t tell it was there. I barely had room for the pasta, but I did love that it was lightly dressed and came with its own dressing so I could season to liking. Fresh all around!
