Maybe they should close the dining room and keep it at pick-up & delivery only. First time there, placed an order to go. Guy that took my order didn’t take off his greasy gloves and it looked like he went straight to pizza-making without a glove change. Eeew. The dining room was filthy. A HUGE spill of drink on a table and floor that had obviously been there hours as it was sticky around the edge. The delivery guy walked right in, stepped right through the mess and kept going. He came back out with another delivery and did the same again. Table with dirty dishes and trash. The “clean” table I sat at to wait had dust and hairs. The chip display was in disarray. The glass front was filthy like the back windows of a toddler mom’s car but worse. The order counter was covered in flour. The pizza was ok I guess. It was difficult to judge it without thinking of those dirty gloves. I notice the good reviews were delivery. If I can figure out how to post pics I will. So disappointing. I’d heard it was good. I hope they can...
Read moreThe food itself was good but I was a little scared to eat it. Because when I got there to pick up my food, I saw the cashier who was the only one in the restaurant no one else, he was cashing people out. Not once did I see him wash his hands I can see that they were covered in dough and he was handling the register. Then he went to go handle some food. And overheard him tell the person in front of me that he is new and the customer was having a hard time understanding him. So maybe he didn't't get proper training I am not sure as to why he was by himself and not taking sanitation precautions but I did pay for the food which I could have refused I guess but I was really hungry. And I didn't see him do it with my food but I wasn't there so I'm not sure. (Fingers crossed I don't get sick) Other than that everything else was great the service and the...
Read moreThis is not so much a fault of the restaurant, but as a transplanted Yankee from Jersey, I have to hold any pizza place to a higher standard and garlic Jim's didn't meet this. I would put this in a classification of a Marcos or papa John's. While my other issue doesn't have much to do with garlic Jim's specifically, I placed my order through the slice app and apparently unannounced to me, it was set to a pick up order, but yet I was asked to provide a tip?? I Philly discovered this was pickup when the restaurant actually called me to say my order was ready and has been sitting for 15 min. When arriving, I asked why would I have been asked for and charged a tip when nothing was delivered? While Garlic Jim's was apologetic, nothing was offered. Not sure I'll go back out...
