UPDATE TO SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH 2025. HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN A YEAR. TRIED IT AGAIN JUST BECAUSE. HUGE MISTAKE. ORDERED TACOS AND A BURGER. I PAID, THEY TELL ME TO GO PARK TO WAIT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES FOR MY ORDER AND WHEN THEY COME TO MY VEHICLE THE YOUNG LADY SAID, "DID I MENTION WE DON'T HAVE LETTUCE FOR YOUR TACOS?" WTH??? TELL ME THAT AT THE DRIVE THROUGH AND THEN I CAN DECIDE IF I WANT THE GREASY CRAP THAT'S BEEN SITTING AT THE COUNTER!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! THEY FAKE ADVERTISE!!! I'M DONE WITH THEM!!! She did say you can get anything else you may want. For what??? For me to sit there another 15 minutes or more???..... The fries are soaked in oil as well. Disgusting food!!! You ALWAYS have to wait and when they come out to give you your food they have forgotten sauces etc so then you have to wait again for them to go back into the restaurant and come back with what you asked for in the first place. Tacos are pre-cooked, so you get them cold at times and greasy. Not good. Too much waiting with no other customers in sight!!! It's happened several times!!!! Update: Stupidly, I went again to this Jack, and as usual, they asked if I could park in the front and they would bring my order out. This time, I asked why, and they didn't answer. They just walked away, and the next thing I see is the manager coming and asking me if I could wait at the front of the store. I asked him why, and he said because it "messes with my time." Hmmmm, so this is why they make customers wait in the front parking lot so that they can take their sweet time getting our orders out without any consequences for them since their "time" won't be messed with. Ridiculous!!! After waiting for more than 10 minutes I asked for my money back. Mind you, there was another manager there getting ready to leave, fixing herself a coffee, and getting an order in a bag to take with her. Then there was another employee, he came from the back where the food gets prepared and was chewing away and saying, "damn that was hot!!!" And there I was, still waiting for my order. After I got my money back, which btw, they manager was shorting me by $2, I had to tell him. Geeze. I happily left that Jack and went to the one off of 35 and O'Conner Rd. What a huge difference!!! Yes, it's further away for me but so worth it!!! The restaurant owner from the one on Nacogdoches should go undercover to experience what we customers go through. I will never again go to this...
Read moreEdit from Original: Was told to respond to Jack in the Box and there is zero response. Over two weeks has passed and not even an apology or anything. This place has closed and should be closed for good. The Franchisee must not care enough to keep his kitchens, dining area, or bathrooms clean. Funny how I have heard from several people that worked there that it was closed for "AC issues". Doesnt take over two weeks to fix that kind of issue. If Jack in the Box had a decent Franchise Coordinator they would YANK the franchise and close it down. Take pride in what you do and do it right.
I have eaten here a handful of times and not once has the service been quick. What I find hilarious right now is that they have been shut down for over a week for "maintenance". Anyone eaten here ever taken a look at their health score? It has sat at a B since I went there last time and that was over 3 months ago. Something's seriously wrong if you have a B score and cannot fix it. Wonder if that's the "maintenance" they are trying to do currently. My suggestion, dont go here even if they do get an A rating.
