First time being at this place and probably my last. First, there are no prices on the menu. I do not want to have to ask how much for this or that or add-on’s, etc. The paletas are good. I got cajeta and mango. 3.00$ each. I also got a banana smoothie. I’m lactose intolerant, so I like to have dairy-free options on milk. I didn’t see any other options on the menu, so I didn’t ask (the guy was putting regular milk). That’s where I’m kinda disappointed first and second was that it was not filled all the way as seen in the picture. I mean for 8$ a smoothie, it was good, but I would have liked it to be filled up to the top. Overall, I spent 15$ total on these three items. I’m sorry, but I know where to get cheaper, but good quality snacks. Also, originally I wanted a funnel cake before the smoothie, however the oil was not hot enough even though the place was already open for 13 minutes. I guess they were not ready for their first customer to come so soon. That’s my honest review about this place.

I have very mixed feelings of this place. I feel like the only reason I’d go again is because they are the only fruteria in the area that has funnel cakes and churros but even then the prices are very high. The other fruteria La Colmena around the corner is much more reasonably priced and they put a lot of time and care with personal touches to their items. In the photos above the left banana split is from sugar daddy and the right one is La Colmena $3 cheaper! I don’t have a photo but the mangonadas at la Colmena come way more packed and with extras for cheaper too! I havent tried sugar daddy’s elote yet so I’ll try that soon but for now it’s literally only the funnel cakes and churros that make this place worth it.

We chose this randomly on our way to San Antonio im glad we did! Its not far off from 35 inside its clean and spacious with plenty of chairs and tables. The menu is vast with options that are also a reasonable price. We ordered two small hot cheetos with cheese, one mangonada added pickles (the amount was extremely generous which i loved!) & a piñada. The mangonada had a good amount of fresh mango added. The piñada also had fresh pineapple it was absolutely delicious. If im in the area i will return again. The employees were so kind & bilingual which is a plus because i love to talk my spanglish! 20/10

Sorry, but Me and my daughter did not share the same experience with the Churros we bought ice cream, and Italian ice banana split the Churros were fried so hard hard as a rock and the caramel in the middle was just about dried up I told the woman that worked there that they were fried too hard for me they were like pretzel sticks if you like your Churros fried hard that's ok I do not Churros are suppose to be tender in taste she said to me that I would still have to pay for them because she made them😂 she said that's how they are fried hard and that I should have told her that I didn't want them hard I told her if I knew you fried them hard and crunchy I would have told her not to fried them that hard my daughter ask if she could cook them over and not leave them in that long she said no she cannot 😂 she said again I have to charge you😂I told her I am the customer and I cannot eat these hard as a rock pretzel sticks and I do not want them she insisted that I had to paid I said to my daughter we are not paying for anything and we do not want the other items we were going to purchase this woman needs to learn how to understand business if your customers are not satisfied you make it right or you will lose the purchase. She didn't even try to offer other options just I have to charge you because I made it😂you do not tell your customers that they have to pay for something that they are not satisfied with we should have known she was an idiot she said shaved ice and Italian ice are the same I hope in the future you know how to treat your customers and you know who you are I do not pay for anything that I am not satisfied with you as a consumer should make sure your customers are satisfied. We could not believe this woman we thought she was a nutt. We will never step foot in there again. Please learn customer etiquette and remember to try to make things right instead of saying I still have to charge you because I made it so now you had to eat everything we were going to purchase😂 take a class on how to deal with unsatisfied customers!!! Sometimes you have to take a lost, it's a part of...

Yay! Ice Cream Shop in the neighborhood! I was pulling into Spring Creek Forest neighborhood and noticed a sign that said Sugar Daddy and was curious as to what it was since that shopping site has always been underdeveloped and was psyched to find out it was an ice cream shop!! I went inside and talked to the owner, Janie who was super nice and I really liked, and bought two flavors to take home, strawberry and cream and gansito. Both flavors were really good, and tasted fresh, but the gansito was out of this world and I will definitely be back for some more of that soon. She also had nachos, and some other snacks and the place was very clean and there were tables and chairs if you wanted to eat there. I’m really happy to see something new in that shopping center and it being an ice cream & snack shop, plus a woman owned, local business is definitely something I want to support! I highly recommend it, both flavors were delicious and tasted like quality ingredients were used in the making. She doesn’t have much in the way if signage up on the storefront yet because they only opened a couple of weeks ago, but will soon. As a side note, this review is 100% honest. I didn’t know Janie prior to today, I didn’t receive free ice cream or anything for posting this review. I genuinely loved the ice cream I bought, and would love to see a woman owned, local business be successful in that shopping center because (in my opinion) I never found there to be anything noteworthy of businesses there. And the fact that it has delicious ice cream within walking distance of course plays no little part to me recommending it of course!...

Went to visit today and noticed that they do not show pricing so I asked about pricing on a few things. When I was cashing out I told the cashier who I believe is the owner if I was credited for the 10% off which is advertised inside if you spend more than $25. She told me yes and that it was good that I reminded her because she always forgets. My total was $37 which I was confused about cause it still seemed pretty pricey for what I got. She didn’t offer a receipt, she just put it off to the side. I went to sit and thought about it for a while so I asked my bf to ask for the receipt so I could get a breakdown. She took a while getting the receipt because of a “new” system, and when she finally got it she stated that she “forgot” to give me the discount even though I had just asked before I cashed out, so she offered me something else but I just wanted my receipt and the difference refunded. I ordered 2 mangonadas, 2 of the cartoon ice creams and one shaved ice with ice cream. I had only inquired about the pricing of the mangonadas and another item I was going to get since they can be pricey at places, the cartoon ice creams ended up being $5+ each and my shaved ice with a scoop of ice cream was almost $11. I know every place has their own prices it seems as if it is intentional to charge people however they need to since the prices are not posted. This was my first and last time visiting this place since it seems as if the shop is not ran honestly. I’ll stick to where I usually go but I wanted to try somewhere else and support a smaller...
