La Cavana Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

I looked up a restaurant with good menudo and gave me this restaurant. I got there at 10 till 2pm and she took my order but told me that they close at 2 and told them that in line it says 2:30. So my food took awhile, coffee was weak and cold. My menudo came 15 minutes later and was very delicious and hot but I couldn't eat it fast enough cause they were busy cleaning and I was very uncomfortable. Although I wasn't being rushed by the waitress,I would look at the kitchen window and noticed the cook giving me the evil eye lol! Plus my bowl had a big pigs foot which I told her at the beginning I didn't like pigs feet with my menudo. All in all the food was good,fresh corn tortillas. Service was good(waitress). They need to change the time online. 5 out of 10...

They have a drive-thru! Lol That was one of the reasons I stopped by this morning. Homemade tortillas too! Ordered 4 breakfast tacos and 2 coffees for my coworker and I. All tacos were delicious! The service was super fast and friendly too. We ordered an egg and bacon, a brean and chorizo, a papa ranchera, and a chicharrón en salsa. Again, every thing was absolutely delicious. The price was very affordable too. We paid about $8 for all of that. Even though we ordered different kinds of tacos, they were fast. I was expecting them to take longer because of our papa ranchera and chicharrón en salsa. I totally recommend this place! Don't let the little-place, hole-in-the-wall look shy you away from the amazing treasures...

Crappy service don't speak English and couldn't even get a refill on my water took forty five minutes for juevos rancheros ten minutes until they realized they had a customer. Very disappointed with this place used to...
