Miss Chickpea’s Bake Shop #2 — Restaurant in San Antonio

The only things we've tried so far are the cupcakes, which are all good (and vegan) but the strawberry cupcakes are AMAZING! I'm not a huge strawberry cake fan but these cupcakes taste even better than regular non vegan strawberry cake with icing! I was so impressed that I called to special order some for Father's day and the staff was so kind. Thankfully, they were willing and able to accommodate a same day request, but i doubt that'll always be the case so definitely recommend ordering in advance as much as possible. Let me start off by saying that the two items I bought were very tasty! However, the reason I'm giving them four stars is because of the prices. They have the items for sale on display but no prices were showing next to them. I ordered one sticky bun and one peach Pop-Tart and the price came out to over $11. Geez!! That is way overpriced. I'm not sure what's happened to this place in the last 2 years since I was here, but it's now dingy and a little dirty. Crumbs for days in the slats of the wooden seats.
