Shell — Restaurant in San Antonio

My friend & I went to this location attempting to get gas before taking me to the airport... There was a malfunction with the pumps payment system which debited for a transaction but no gas was actually pumped... Although she attempted to cancel the transaction the pump kept beeping & the screen wouldn't let her progress any further... When the clerk was told about the issue she simply said she doesn't know what to do... She made no attempt to resolve the issue or even call a member of management until I (the passenger) went inside and asked if she could at least try to ask someone for an alternative solution instead of just saying she doesn't know... The clerk gave pushback stating the manager wouldn't know what to do either which I once again asked could she at least try... She finally called or pretended to call a manager... She said this person advised we just have to wait for the funds being held to be released... The part that upset me the most was the fact she had a terrible attitude and when I requested her to at least try to ask a manager she snatched her phone off the counter... I've worked customer service so I know that even if you honestly can't help just showing the customer you empathize with them & actually trying to assist makes all the difference... I paid for gas for another pumped so I could make it to the airport... Not one time did she apologize for any inconvenience or acknowledge our frustrations... I'm sure that's not how this company wants the employees to treat...

They were close for cleaning and I had to use the restrooms I pleaded with the guy. No one was there to hurt the line for the guy. I use to work for retail and more so convenience stores. I would do the human thing and help you use the restroom after you were working a job all night cleaning the roads. You think cleaning a store is bad we'll have some common grounds and meet me at the same level.

We all work with things we don't want to do. More of you should have sympathy for your fellow human.

It's not right. It's wrong and it's sad. This is a basic human need. A basic necessity for anyone. This world grows colder as time goes on.

I had to basically use the restroom behind the woods nearly in my pants.

Great new location with plenty of pumps, large, clean shopping area & tidy restrooms. Only issue, and it's quite relevant, is the most frequently used entrance to the gas station has a very narrow space to enter or leave with a pretty dangerous concrete separation structure that is very colorful and has huge rock like chucks lying abt it because of how many ppl have literally hit, ran over, or slammed into it obviously on a regular basis. It's very clear that this was very poor construction plannimg & the small island separation structure should be removed immediately.
